Our stay at Fiore di Loto was absolutely disappointing and ruined our entire trip to Verona. We arrived at 6:15 PM, right on time according to the check-in window, but there was no one at the front desk—no staff, no response on the phone. After waiting nearly 45 minutes, someone finally answered, and instead of apologizing, they actually laughed at us for being late. That’s not just unprofessional—it’s unacceptable. The hotel still requires in-person check-in in 2024, with no self-check-in options or keyless entry systems, which is surprising given how common those are now. We were trying to make it to the Arena di Verona on time, but this delay caused us to miss part of our plans. The atmosphere was far from peaceful or serene—more like indifferent and chaotic. There’s nothing zen about this place. Poor communication, lack of basic hospitality, and a complete absence of operational efficiency. If you’re looking for a quiet, thoughtful retreat, avoid this property. It’s not worth it.

I stayed at Appartamenti Museo for one night, and while the apartment had some positives, the experience fell short in key areas. I used a Wonderbox voucher and paid a small upgrade fee to secure a superior apartment since the standard one was unavailable; that part worked out fine. However, the in-room breakfast was underwhelming—very limited selection, mostly generic store-brand items, which felt like a letdown after expecting something better. The biggest issue, though, was the heating. I arrived on March 1st after a long, rainy, cold, and damp day exploring Verona. When I got back, the heating was off completely. I asked the hostess about it, and she kindly explained the heating system is shared across the building and would turn on later in the evening. Unfortunately, it never came on—radiators remained icy all day and night. It made the whole stay uncomfortable, especially after a tiring day outdoors. A real shame, because with better heating management, this place could have been a solid choice. As it stands, I’d only recommend it if you’re prepared for potential temperature issues.

Highly recommended! We stayed here for one night as a stopover after visiting Parco Sigurtà on Sunday and exploring Verona on Monday. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment we booked, making everything smooth and stress-free. The apartment itself is beautifully maintained—spotless, well-organized, and full of thoughtful details. We were a group of nine people (two families), and despite the size, we felt completely at home. We booked three out of the four available rooms, and the shared common area became our favorite spot—especially in the evenings when we ordered pizza and spent time together playing games, just like a real family gathering. It’s rare to find a place that feels so welcoming and spacious without feeling impersonal. If we ever plan another trip to this area, we’ll definitely come back. A top choice for groups looking for comfort, charm, and a true home-away-from-home experience.

The next day, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room had a single bed that was a bit small but clean overall. The bathroom was tidy and well-maintained. The only downside was a slightly stained wall beside the bed and some visible signs of humidity near the ceiling, though it didn’t affect my comfort much. All in all, the place is livable, reasonably priced, and ideal for travelers with medical appointments or family visits to the hospital. Its location truly can’t be beat.

It’s hard to recommend if hygiene isn’t up to standard.
