Relais Empire
Staying at Relais Empire was a wonderful experience overall. The room was beautifully designed, the bathroom was clean and modern, and the kitchen area offered plenty of space for preparing meals—very convenient. The location is excellent: close to restaurants, shops, and just a short walk from the city center, making it easy to explore Verona on foot. The only minor issue was a strange noise coming from the ceiling during the night—almost like something was stuck in the air duct, turning on and off intermittently. It was noticeable but not disruptive during the day; however, it did feel unsettling in the middle of the night. Despite that, the stay was truly enjoyable, and I’d definitely recommend this hotel for its charm, comfort, and great value.
Verona House Aparthotel
We were looking for a spacious quadruple room to accommodate my two young daughters, and upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to be redirected to a few nearby apartments managed by the same group. The experience exceeded all expectations—impeccable service from the front desk, convenient valet parking, and a comfortable duplex suite that gave us plenty of space for the kids to move around freely. Breakfast was excellent, and the location couldn’t be better—just a 5-minute walk to the pedestrian zone, perfect for exploring shops and restaurants. We arrived during a heatwave in Italy, and the air conditioning worked flawlessly—it was literally a lifesaver. We had to retreat to our room every afternoon because the outside heat was unbearable. What truly amazed us was that every time we left the room during the day, housekeeping would come back in to freshen it up—making the beds, restocking supplies, keeping everything spotless. That kind of attention to detail is rare and deeply appreciated. The staff were warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive. Overall, this was an exceptional stay—highly recommended for families seeking comfort, convenience, and outstanding service.
Corte Ongaro Hotel
Corte Ongaro Hotel was hands down the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Italy. We were in Verona for Irama’s concert and needed a convenient, last-minute stay near the Arena. If you’re looking for more than just a bed to sleep in—a place where you actually feel seen and valued—then Avenue Rooms is the perfect choice. It’s not just a stay; it’s a story worth remembering. Hotel Mastino
Absolutely excellent stay! We were two guests, and the room was clean, well-maintained, and just the right size. Breakfast was generous and delicious—great variety and quality. The location is perfect: only a 50-meter walk to the bus stop with line L026 heading straight to Lake Garda—no transfers needed, super convenient. Everything we wanted was within walking distance, from local shops to tourist spots. One big plus: they offer luggage storage, which made our trip much more relaxed, especially when checking out early or arriving late. I’d definitely book here again if we ever return to Verona. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great value.

Our experience with La Maison di Luca was quite disappointing. We reached out to the property in advance to confirm our booking details, but never received the payment instructions or account information for the deposit. Despite multiple follow-up emails, we got no response at all. After two days, we finally heard back—only to be told that our original dates were no longer available and we’d need to change them. This lack of communication and professionalism was extremely frustrating, especially after investing time and effort into planning our stay. If you're considering this place, be aware: clear and timely responses are not guaranteed, and it’s risky to rely on their coordination.

We stayed at Mastino Rooms, a separate building just 100 meters from the main property—quiet, convenient, and well-connected. The rooms were clean, slightly compact, and had a bit of dated furniture, but they were peaceful, well-maintained, and came with a mini-fridge—perfect for storing drinks or snacks. Bonus points for offering cribs for little ones—ideal for families. One small downside: guests staying at Mastino Rooms need to walk back to the main hotel for breakfast, which isn’t the most convenient in the morning. But honestly, it’s totally worth it. The overall experience was excellent—from the prime location to the thoughtful touches. If you want a central, cozy base in Verona with easy access to everything, this is a top pick.
