Aster Inn - Near Taj Mahal

Staying at Castle View was an absolute delight! This budget-friendly gem is just a short walk from the Taj Mahal, making it incredibly convenient for early morning visits. The rooms were spotless, with immaculate bathrooms and a clean, welcoming atmosphere throughout. The staff were genuinely helpful and friendly—always ready to assist with anything you needed. The Taj East Gate Metro Station is literally within walking distance, and cabs and autos are readily available 24/7 right outside the hotel. I highly recommend this place for travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and great value. Definitely coming back next time!

Fabhotel Chahat Palace

My stay at this hotel was excellent from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the airport, railway station, and bus stand, making travel in Agra super convenient. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with all essential amenities: reliable AC, consistent hot water, fast Wi-Fi, and secure parking. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, going out of their way to make my visit comfortable. Housekeeping was done daily, which added to the overall cleanliness and comfort. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the welcoming atmosphere. It’s clear this place values guest satisfaction. Would definitely recommend and stay here again if I ever return to Agra.

Hotel Big Daddy

I stayed at this hotel during the last week of August, recommended by a close friend. Honestly, I didn’t expect much just from seeing it from the street—minimalist exterior, unassuming vibe. But stepping inside the lobby, I was pleasantly surprised: compact but cozy, with inviting sofas and a stylish coffee table that set a relaxed tone. I had no expectations going into the restaurant, but what I found completely blew me away—a European-inspired lounge space with elegant seating and an atmosphere that felt both refined and welcoming. The staff were attentive from the start—offering water immediately and checking on my comfort without being intrusive. I couldn’t help but say out loud, “This place is so different from how it looks from outside!” That’s when Sonu, the General Manager, invited me to check out something more special. Curious, I followed him up to the rooftop lounge. It was still under renovation, but even in progress, the view stole my breath—uninterrupted, direct sightlines of the Taj Mahal. In a city like Agra, what else could you ask for? The rooms are modest in size but very comfortable, with thoughtful touches like retro-style hallways, a grand chandelier over the stairs, and a quirky photo booth in the gallery. I learned the lobby used to be larger, but 70% has been leased to Bikanerwala, which now offers great dining options right on-site—perfect for guests who want convenience. Overall, this hotel is a real hidden gem. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s an experience. Close to the Taj Mahal, easy to reach by car or public transit, and packed with character. If you’re visiting Agra, this is definitely a must-visit and must-stay choice.

Hotel Taj Nirvana

Our stay at Hotel Taj Nirvana was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of. The rooms were spotless and maintained a perfect balance of comfort and elegance—cleanliness really stood out, which is always important to us. The atmosphere throughout the property felt warm and inviting, making it an ideal place for families. We especially appreciated how supportive and attentive the team was—they went above and beyond to assist with anything we needed. The owner himself was incredibly friendly and approachable, adding a personal touch that made our visit even more memorable. Location-wise, it’s convenient for exploring Agra’s main attractions, including the Taj Mahal. Overall, this was a top-tier experience with excellent value. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and plan to return.

Hotel Thor

Staying at Hotel Thor in Agra was an absolute delight. The rooftop bar is a standout feature—perfect for a quiet evening with a great view of the city, especially during sunset or sunrise. We enjoyed dinner up there, and the food options were surprisingly good, offering both local flavors and international dishes. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with excellent attention to detail. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always friendly and prompt with assistance. It’s clear this place values guest experience. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a romantic getaway, Hotel Thor delivers on every level. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Agra.

Dá Bungalow - A Vacation Abode

This charming bungalow is a true gem for anyone seeking peace and tranquility. Located just a short distance from the city center, it offers a quiet retreat with fresh, clean air—perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle. The host is incredibly warm and welcoming, always going the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. The property is immaculately clean, down to the smallest detail, and the on-site kitchen serves delicious, home-style meals that are both satisfying and authentic. It's an ideal spot for families or small groups looking for a peaceful getaway. Despite being slightly off the main tourist trail, it's still easily accessible by local transport, making day trips to nearby attractions hassle-free. I highly recommend this hidden paradise—every bit of the experience lives up to the 10/10 rating, and I’ll definitely be returning.

Hotel Sahibs LightHouse

The location was quite challenging to find—despite asking multiple local drivers and locals, we couldn’t get clear directions. It ended up being a bit of a hassle navigating to the hotel. While the building has a unique look, the overall experience didn’t live up to expectations. The room was decent but lacked standout features, and the service felt a bit slow. Not the easiest place to reach, especially if you’re not familiar with the area. I’d recommend choosing a more centrally located option next time.

Sanskriti Home Stay

This was by far the worst stay I've ever had at a homestay. I strongly discourage anyone looking for a comfortable, family-friendly experience from booking here—especially if you're traveling with kids. The listing promises a modular kitchen and a working TV, but both are completely non-functional: no induction, no gas stove, no utensils—just an empty space—and the TV is just a dummy unit. The toilets were in terrible condition; I had to clean the seat myself, and the sink was full of hair—so unpleasant that we avoided using them altogether, opting instead to use facilities at nearby restaurants. The property is located deep in a remote area, accessible only via a dusty, narrow road full of potholes. There's not a single shop or market within 2 kilometers—walking is tough, and local auto-rickshaws or cabs aren’t always available unless you’re lucky enough to book through OLA or Uber. The host lives on the ground floor with his family, and guests on the first floor share a common sitting area with a worn-out sofa, a wobbly dining table, and a kitchen that’s essentially useless except for an RO system. You can’t lock the main lobby door—your only option is to close and lock your bedroom door, which feels more like staying in a hotel than a real home. Privacy is completely compromised. Breakfast is included in the room rate, but you’re expected to go downstairs to the host’s house to eat—even though there’s a shared dining table upstairs. This felt awkward and forced, especially since the host insisted on interacting with guests. Maintenance is clearly neglected: damp walls, broken door handles, damaged furniture, and poor cleanliness even in the balconies. It’s obvious no dedicated staff is assigned to upkeep. During my stay, I noticed the host seemed less interested in welcoming Indian guests—his business seems to rely heavily on international travelers, which surprised me given the property’s condition. To top it off, there were swarms of bees on the balcony, especially in the evening. My wife got stung on her leg—severe pain and swelling—forcing us to rush downstairs for home remedies. Overall, this place is not worth it. If you’re considering booking, please visit in person before making a decision.

N Homestay Agra

Staying at this homestay with a friend was an absolute highlight of our trip to Agra. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome from the family made us feel right at home—real conversations, genuine smiles, and that special sense of connection you don’t always find in hotels. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a cozy bed and effective air conditioning, which was a lifesaver during the intense heat. The only minor hiccup was the shower—it didn’t work perfectly, but washing up at the sink wasn’t an issue at all. Breakfast was simple but satisfying: fresh toast, a fried egg, jam, bananas, and hot drinks. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. What really stood out though was the kindness and hospitality of the hosts—they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It’s not just a place to sleep; it’s a real experience. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, heartfelt stay.

Rich Grand Hotel

Absolutely perfect stay! The location is ideal for exploring Agra—right next to the metro station, making it super easy to get to the Taj Mahal without any hassle. The room was spotless, the bed incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby. Staff were friendly and helpful with everything. It’s rare to find such a great value with top-tier service, and this place truly deserves every single point. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Agra.

OYO 11648 CP Residency

Stayed here on October 6th, and I have to be honest—this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hotel. The bathroom was completely unusable: the door wouldn’t close properly, so I had to ask for an extra bucket just to block it. The bucket itself was filthy and clearly old. The drain was clogged, and we had to call staff to clear it ourselves. The fan was extremely noisy, and the AC barely worked—definitely not cooling down the room. There’s also a restaurant on-site, but the food was underwhelming and overpriced. Location-wise, it’s way out in the outskirts, far from the city center, making it inconvenient to visit major attractions. The overall cleanliness was poor, and there’s absolutely nothing positive to say. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, not even to a friend. Definitely not worth the price, and I won’t be returning.

Hotel Chanakya

Staying at Hotel Chanakya was a delightful experience from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—always friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. While the food prices were on the higher side, that’s completely expected in Agra compared to other cities like Kolkata. The location is excellent, just a short walk from major attractions, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It’s clear this hotel values guest satisfaction, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Agra.
