A friend recommended this homestay, and I’m so glad she did—this experience truly stood out among all my travels in India. The family behind Zigzag Homestay goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. From the moment I arrived after a long bus ride from Delhi, I was greeted with warm smiles and a steaming cup of chai. John’s sister prepared a delicious homemade dinner, and we spent hours chatting late into the night with two lovely travelers from Belgium. The next morning, the driver picked me up early for sunrise at the Taj Mahal, where John joined me as a knowledgeable and passionate guide. We enjoyed breakfast at a scenic café, then explored Agra Fort and the Baby Taj—both absolutely worth the visit. Lunch was shared before the driver took me back to the bus stop for my next journey. This wasn’t just a place to stay—it felt like coming home. It’s one of my most cherished travel memories, and I can’t wait to return.

My stay at Friends Home Stay - Agra was absolutely unforgettable. The accommodation was incredibly comfortable, with a cozy and well-maintained room that felt like a home away from home. Their warmth and genuine hospitality made me feel truly welcomed. Location is perfect for visiting the Taj Mahal, just a short ride away. If you're looking for a welcoming, authentic stay in Agra, this place is a must-book. I highly recommend it to every traveler.

Max goes above and beyond, sharing insider tips on how to experience Agra authentically and peacefully. His homemade meals are delicious, comforting, and absolutely perfect after a full day of sightseeing. Another standout feature? He offers trusted local drivers for your trips. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mohini Home Stay with Sanjay and Harsha. The hosts were incredibly kind and always ready to help—whether it was giving local tips, arranging transportation, or just chatting about the city. The location is perfect: just a short walk from Agra Fort and close to all major attractions. The rooms are clean, cozy, and well-maintained, making it feel like home. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality and comfort in a guesthouse. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Agra. Definitely a top choice for a memorable and stress-free trip.

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Sahibs Red Carpet! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the Taj Mahal, making it super convenient for sightseeing. What truly stood out was the warm and thoughtful service from the female front desk staff. She went above and beyond to assist me with my saree, adjusting it with care and kindness. It was such a personal touch that made me feel genuinely welcomed. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the essentials you’d want. For the price, the value is outstanding. My stay at Hotel Dinesh was absolutely wonderful—so comfortable and homely, it felt like being at home. The entire experience was seamless from start to finish. What stood out the most was the food: always freshly prepared, piping hot, and full of authentic local flavor. Meals were readily available whenever needed, which made dining so convenient. Plus, the hotel’s location is fantastic—it’s just a short walk from all major attractions and key transit points, making exploration super easy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and every detail contributed to a stress-free trip. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Agra. It’s not just a hotel—it’s a truly memorable stay.

I stayed at Indian Homestay for an extended period, and it was absolutely wonderful. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming—truly made me feel at home. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location is perfect: just a 15-minute drive from Agra’s main landmark, the Taj Mahal. It’s convenient, peaceful, and well-connected to all key attractions. I highly recommend this homestay for anyone visiting Agra—it’s not just a place to sleep, it’s a memorable experience.

This was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. As a visitor, I'd strongly advise against booking here—especially if you're traveling from outside the area. The place lacks even basic amenities, and the service is incredibly poor. I was exhausted after a long day of travel and asked about the wedding party's music, expecting it to end by 10 PM. The staff quietly confirmed that, but the loud DJ music continued all the way until 1 PM the next day. To make matters worse, the hot water system wasn't automatic—you had to go knock on the door and ask someone to turn it on, and they took ages to respond. No comfort, no professionalism, and absolutely no value for money. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed at Agra Paying Guest House and was disappointed overall. The room was basic and lacked essential amenities—no hot water in the morning, no TV, and absolutely no Wi-Fi. It felt more like a third-class accommodation rather than a decent guesthouse. For the price, I expected better comfort and facilities. If you're looking for something reliable and functional, this isn't the best choice. Definitely not worth it if you're after a comfortable stay.

This is hands down the best place I've ever stayed in Agra. From the moment I arrived, Col Sharma's warm hospitality made me feel right at home. The homestay is beautifully set up with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere—perfect for travelers who want an authentic local experience. It’s located just a short walk from major attractions like the Taj Mahal, making it incredibly convenient. What truly stands out is the personal touch: Col Sharma shares fascinating stories and insider tips that add so much depth to your trip. The conversations over breakfast were some of the most memorable parts of my stay. If you're looking for more than just a place to sleep—a real connection to the culture and people—this is it. Book this gem now; it’s absolutely worth every penny.

Staying at Hotel Thor in Agra was an absolute delight. The rooftop bar is a standout feature—perfect for a quiet evening with a great view of the city, especially during sunset or sunrise. We enjoyed dinner up there, and the food options were surprisingly good, offering both local flavors and international dishes. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with excellent attention to detail. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always friendly and prompt with assistance. It’s clear this place values guest experience. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a romantic getaway, Hotel Thor delivers on every level. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Agra.

This charming bungalow is a true gem for anyone seeking peace and tranquility. Located just a short distance from the city center, it offers a quiet retreat with fresh, clean air—perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle. The host is incredibly warm and welcoming, always going the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. The property is immaculately clean, down to the smallest detail, and the on-site kitchen serves delicious, home-style meals that are both satisfying and authentic. It's an ideal spot for families or small groups looking for a peaceful getaway. Despite being slightly off the main tourist trail, it's still easily accessible by local transport, making day trips to nearby attractions hassle-free. I highly recommend this hidden paradise—every bit of the experience lives up to the 10/10 rating, and I’ll definitely be returning.
