We stayed just one night at B&B SoleLuna on our way back from Sardinia, and it was absolutely perfect. The room was immaculately clean, the breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming—genuinely making you feel like family. The garden surrounding the property is beautifully maintained, and the charming covered porch is an ideal spot to relax with a book or enjoy a quiet morning coffee. It’s conveniently located near public transport and within easy reach of everything in Pisa. This place truly feels like home away from home, and I’d happily come back again. Highly recommended!

Staying at Dimora del Conte in Pisa was an absolute delight. This historic property is beautifully maintained and exudes charm from every corner—perfect for travelers who appreciate authentic atmosphere and attention to detail. Located just steps from the city center, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring Pisa on foot or by public transit. The on-site parking is a real plus: tucked beneath the entrance, accessible via an electronic code at the automatic gate—secure and hassle-free. We stayed with five people—two double beds and three single beds up in the loft area—which offered ample space and comfort. The private bathroom with a walk-in shower was clean, functional, and well-designed. Everything felt thoughtfully curated. If you're looking for a unique, character-filled stay in a central location with excellent value, this place is a must-book.

Staying at B&B Gli Archi was a delightful experience. The location is perfect for a peaceful and comfortable stay—while it’s not right in the heart of Pisa, it’s far enough from the crowds to enjoy real tranquility. Maria, the owner, couldn’t have been more welcoming, honest, and thoughtful. Her kindness made our visit feel personal and warm. We highly recommend this place without hesitation. One thing to note: a deposit of €50 was required upon arrival for our two-night stay, which wasn’t clearly mentioned during booking. While it caught us off guard initially, it’s a minor detail compared to the overall quality and charm of the accommodation. All in all, an excellent choice for travelers seeking comfort, warmth, and quiet authenticity in Pisa.
Like Home Cisanello
We stayed at Like Home Cisanello for four days in a studio apartment. The location was excellent—extremely close to the hospital and with convenient on-site parking, which made things much easier during our visit. The room was spacious and, in theory, well-equipped, including a coffee machine and plenty of coffee pods—great for making morning brews. However, reality didn’t match expectations. Despite reading positive reviews, the apartment showed signs of neglect: visible marks on the walls, inconsistent cleaning standards, and even after requesting assistance following a medical procedure, the housekeeping response was delayed. The air conditioning was another major disappointment—it was noisy and only cooled one room effectively, while the rest remained uncomfortably warm. Even though it’s a Samsung unit (a brand known for quality), the performance was underwhelming. Overall, the experience fell short of what we hoped for. While the proximity to the hospital is a definite plus, the overall comfort and cleanliness could definitely be improved. Not something I’d recommend unless you’re specifically looking for a hospital-adjacent stay.
Da Debby
Staying at Da Debby was a bit of a disappointment despite its convenient location near the hospital, ferry terminal, and nearby supermarkets. The bed was comfortable with clean linens, but the blanket looked used and hadn’t been refreshed—definitely not hygienic. The bathroom was tidy, but the shower area had visible mold, and someone had started using toilet paper without replacing it. There were no small soap dispensers, and no towel rack in sight. In the kitchen, we found no dishwashing detergent—even in small amounts—and absolutely no decent sponge for washing dishes. Cleaning overall left much to be desired. Outside on the balcony, there was a locked washing machine with clothes still inside, which was awkward and unprofessional. We booked for three people—a couple and our 11-year-old son—but the only option for him was a very uncomfortable sofa that opened into two, leaving a deep gap down the middle where he couldn’t sleep properly. We ended up bringing our own pillows, as the ones provided were thin and lumpy. The apartment is on the sixth floor of an older building in a fairly busy neighborhood, so we felt unsafe leaving anything in the car. Since we needed to catch an early morning ferry, we had to carry all our luggage in and out every day—very inconvenient. And to top it off, our neighbor was a noisy Indian myna bird that chattered nonstop from dawn till dusk. It was distracting and annoying. Overall, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. Poor maintenance, lack of basic amenities, and constant disruptions made this stay unpleasant. I won’t be returning.
Relais le Ortensie
This place feels more like a boutique hotel than a simple guesthouse—everything is top-notch and thoughtfully designed. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the city center, with convenient parking nearby. Outside, there’s a lovely garden area where you can relax in peace. The room itself was spacious, especially the bathroom, which felt luxurious. Air conditioning, flat-screen TV, and all the modern comforts you’d expect—all present and working flawlessly. Honestly, nothing was missing. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Pisa, and I’m already planning my return visit.

This was my first visit to Pisa, and I can confidently say it won’t be my last! Gino’s House is perfectly located in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood, just a 1-minute walk from the bus station—super convenient for getting around. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and fully equipped for a short stay. What truly stood out was the incredible customer service—staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made all the difference. I’m especially grateful for her support during my thyroid surgery at the University Hospital of Pisa, performed by Professor Materazzi and his excellent team—thank you for your professionalism and kindness. The location is unbeatable, just steps away from the hospital, making everything convenient. If I ever return to Pisa, I’ll be booking with Elisa without hesitation. A heartfelt recommendation!

Located just 500 meters from the Cisanello hospital, it's incredibly convenient if you're visiting for medical reasons or nearby appointments. The air conditioning works perfectly, making the space comfortable even during warmer days. The kitchen is fully equipped—pots, pans, utensils, everything you'd need to cook a meal. And the owner? So welcoming and helpful—always ready to assist with local tips or any concerns. It’s rare to find such a cozy, well-kept place in such a central location. I highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Pisa, especially those needing easy access to the hospital area. Will definitely be returning!
Residence Isola Verde Cisanello
I absolutely loved staying here! The apartment was charming—slightly dated but that actually added to the cozy, homey vibe you get when visiting Italy. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially for us Irish folks braving temperatures over 28°C. There’s a vending machine right on-site for bottled water if you prefer not to drink tap water, and Penny supermarket is literally just steps away—super convenient. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils you’d need, so we didn’t have to waste time searching for breakfast essentials. Plus, there’s a lovely little café right next door—perfect for a morning coffee or quick bite. The shutters are excellent at keeping out heat and light, making the room cool and comfortable. The shower might be small, but the water pressure is powerful and refreshing—plus, fresh towels and hotel-quality shampoo and body wash were provided. The staff at reception were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. And let’s not forget the two stunning aquariums inside—their presence adds such a peaceful touch. Bonus points: I accidentally left my earphones behind, and instead of just waiting for me to notice, they contacted me and even came to find me in the city after we’d checked out! I was genuinely touched—I can’t sleep without them! Their hospitality went above and beyond, and it truly made our stay unforgettable. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience!
