We stayed with five people—two double beds and three single beds up in the loft area—which offered ample space and comfort. The private bathroom with a walk-in shower was clean, functional, and well-designed. Everything felt thoughtfully curated. If you're looking for a unique, character-filled stay in a central location with excellent value, this place is a must-book.

Maria, the owner, couldn’t have been more welcoming, honest, and thoughtful. Her kindness made our visit feel personal and warm. We highly recommend this place without hesitation. One thing to note: a deposit of €50 was required upon arrival for our two-night stay, which wasn’t clearly mentioned during booking. While it caught us off guard initially, it’s a minor detail compared to the overall quality and charm of the accommodation. All in all, an excellent choice for travelers seeking comfort, warmth, and quiet authenticity in Pisa.
Like Home Cisanello
We stayed at Like Home Cisanello for four days in a studio apartment. The location was excellent—extremely close to the hospital and with convenient on-site parking, which made things much easier during our visit. The room was spacious and, in theory, well-equipped, including a coffee machine and plenty of coffee pods—great for making morning brews. However, reality didn’t match expectations. Despite reading positive reviews, the apartment showed signs of neglect: visible marks on the walls, inconsistent cleaning standards, and even after requesting assistance following a medical procedure, the housekeeping response was delayed. The air conditioning was another major disappointment—it was noisy and only cooled one room effectively, while the rest remained uncomfortably warm. Even though it’s a Samsung unit (a brand known for quality), the performance was underwhelming. Overall, the experience fell short of what we hoped for. While the proximity to the hospital is a definite plus, the overall comfort and cleanliness could definitely be improved. Not something I’d recommend unless you’re specifically looking for a hospital-adjacent stay.

This was my first visit to Pisa, and I can confidently say it won’t be my last! Gino’s House is perfectly located in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood, just a 1-minute walk from the bus station—super convenient for getting around. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and fully equipped for a short stay. What truly stood out was the incredible customer service—staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made all the difference. I felt right at home from the moment I arrived. Highly recommend this gem of a place to anyone visiting Pisa. Thank you, Gino’s, for such a memorable experience!

I’m especially grateful for her support during my thyroid surgery at the University Hospital of Pisa, performed by Professor Materazzi and his excellent team—thank you for your professionalism and kindness. The location is unbeatable, just steps away from the hospital, making everything convenient. If I ever return to Pisa, I’ll be booking with Elisa without hesitation. A heartfelt recommendation!

I absolutely loved staying here! The apartment was charming—slightly dated but that actually added to the cozy, homey vibe you get when visiting Italy. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially for us Irish folks braving temperatures over 28°C. There’s a vending machine right on-site for bottled water if you prefer not to drink tap water, and Penny supermarket is literally just steps away—super convenient. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils you’d need, so we didn’t have to waste time searching for breakfast essentials. Plus, there’s a lovely little café right next door—perfect for a morning coffee or quick bite. The shutters are excellent at keeping out heat and light, making the room cool and comfortable. The shower might be small, but the water pressure is powerful and refreshing—plus, fresh towels and hotel-quality shampoo and body wash were provided. The staff at reception were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. And let’s not forget the two stunning aquariums inside—their presence adds such a peaceful touch. Bonus points: I accidentally left my earphones behind, and instead of just waiting for me to notice, they contacted me and even came to find me in the city after we’d checked out! I was genuinely touched—I can’t sleep without them! Their hospitality went above and beyond, and it truly made our stay unforgettable. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience!
