One thing to note: a deposit of €50 was required upon arrival for our two-night stay, which wasn’t clearly mentioned during booking. While it caught us off guard initially, it’s a minor detail compared to the overall quality and charm of the accommodation. All in all, an excellent choice for travelers seeking comfort, warmth, and quiet authenticity in Pisa.
We stayed at Like Home Cisanello for four days in a studio apartment. The location was excellent—extremely close to the hospital and with convenient on-site parking, which made things much easier during our visit. The room was spacious and, in theory, well-equipped, including a coffee machine and plenty of coffee pods—great for making morning brews. However, reality didn’t match expectations. Despite reading positive reviews, the apartment showed signs of neglect: visible marks on the walls, inconsistent cleaning standards, and even after requesting assistance following a medical procedure, the housekeeping response was delayed. The air conditioning was another major disappointment—it was noisy and only cooled one room effectively, while the rest remained uncomfortably warm. Even though it’s a Samsung unit (a brand known for quality), the performance was underwhelming. Overall, the experience fell short of what we hoped for. While the proximity to the hospital is a definite plus, the overall comfort and cleanliness could definitely be improved. Not something I’d recommend unless you’re specifically looking for a hospital-adjacent stay.

There’s a vending machine right on-site for bottled water if you prefer not to drink tap water, and Penny supermarket is literally just steps away—super convenient. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils you’d need, so we didn’t have to waste time searching for breakfast essentials. Plus, there’s a lovely little café right next door—perfect for a morning coffee or quick bite. The shutters are excellent at keeping out heat and light, making the room cool and comfortable. The shower might be small, but the water pressure is powerful and refreshing—plus, fresh towels and hotel-quality shampoo and body wash were provided. The staff at reception were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. And let’s not forget the two stunning aquariums inside—their presence adds such a peaceful touch. Bonus points: I accidentally left my earphones behind, and instead of just waiting for me to notice, they contacted me and even came to find me in the city after we’d checked out! I was genuinely touched—I can’t sleep without them! Their hospitality went above and beyond, and it truly made our stay unforgettable. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience!

I stayed just one night at Il Mattino Ha l'Oro in Bocca, and it was a great experience overall. The room was spacious, well-equipped with a TV and heating, and incredibly clean—so much so that the fresh scent of cleaning products was immediately noticeable upon entry. The bathroom featured a shower enclosure, also spotless and well-maintained. The hallway leading to the room was cozy and bright, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast was served on the terrace with a good variety of options, though the weather was a bit chilly. Still, it didn’t dampen the enjoyment. I’d definitely recommend this place and would stay here again if I ever return to Pisa.
