Buses run hourly from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. right outside the property, which made getting around hassle-free. We highly recommend using public transport over taxis—it’s much more affordable, especially since a ride to Fira costs just €2 from the stop opposite the villas. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. There’s a real family-like vibe throughout the property, especially at breakfast where the fresh food was served promptly each day. Just a short walk down the steep hill is Caldera Beach—a peaceful spot perfect for snorkeling, and only about 20 minutes to Red Beach, home to several great seaside restaurants (we highly recommend Dolphin!). Every Wednesday and Saturday, there’s also a fantastic Greek night at a local restaurant just a five-minute walk up the hill—definitely worth checking out. And kudos to the team for being so flexible when we needed to change our booking dates despite it being non-refundable—they handled everything smoothly and stress-free.
