Absolutely outstanding stay at this hotel! Its location is perfect—just steps away from all the vibrant energy of Rio. Check-in was a bit delayed—expected at 12:30, but they only confirmed room readiness around 1:20 PM. Still, the experience overall was positive. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, directly connected to the airport, making transfers and early flights super convenient. That said, the front desk is tucked away at the back of the lobby, so you’ll need to walk a bit through the spacious corridors. The rooms and hallways had a faint cleaning smell—likely from recent sanitization—but nothing overwhelming. The rooftop view is definitely worth it, especially P1 and P2 areas. It gets busy, but the panoramic sight of the airport and city skyline, especially during sunset, is spectacular. Perfect for a quick break or just soaking in the atmosphere. Overall, great value, excellent access, and a solid choice if you're flying in or out of Rio.

The location is unbeatable—just steps away from the sand and all the vibrant energy of Rio’s famous beachfront. Getting around the city is super easy, and despite being so close to the action, the hotel itself remains quiet and peaceful. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. One minor note: if you book a connecting room, you might notice some noise from the adjacent room, especially during quieter hours. For a more peaceful stay, consider opting for a non-adjacent room. Overall, this place offers great value, excellent access, and a lovely atmosphere—highly recommend for travelers who want convenience without sacrificing comfort.

A few days later, we had a minor hiccup with an activity provider, and despite language barriers, the team stepped in to help us coordinate a solution. Their friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to assist truly stood out. The hotel’s location is fantastic—right by the beach and super convenient for exploring Rio. It’s clear the staff care about guest experience. That said, the bathroom and air conditioning could use a refresh; they’re showing their age. With a little modernization, this already great place would be perfect.

We stayed at Scorial Rio Hotel from August 15 to 18, 2025, with my family, and the experience was truly outstanding. The hotel is spotless, the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, and its location is perfect—just a short walk from the metro, making it easy to explore Rio. Breakfast was varied and delicious, though the coffee could have been stronger. Still, everything tasted great. The rooftop pool is a real highlight—beautiful views, peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxing under the sun. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the beach and super convenient for exploring Rio. Communication with the platform was smooth, and check-in was hassle-free. The apartment has everything you need: clean linens, towels, a stove, microwave, and more—very practical for a stay. However, the bathtub is definitely a weak point. It’s outdated, stained with grime, and not very hygienic. Removing it could actually free up space and improve cleanliness. The air conditioning is a bit noisy, but honestly, the street noise is so loud that it drowns out most other sounds anyway. To make matters worse, the windows are extremely old with no sound or thermal insulation—there’s even a two-finger-wide gap at the top and middle. As a result, sleeping is only truly possible between 10 PM and 6 AM. Outside of those hours, it feels like you’re sleeping on the sidewalk with constant traffic and city noise. If you’re a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, this might not be the best fit. Still, for the price and location, it’s a decent option if you’re okay with some trade-offs.

The only small suggestion: adding a small rooftop terrace or swimming pool would be a nice touch to elevate the experience even further. But honestly, everything else is spot-on.
