Upon arrival, I was shocked to find that the room rate was different from what I had booked—additional ₹500 was charged right at the front desk with no prior notice. The receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful, making the entire check-in process unpleasant. The bed was uncomfortable, hard as stone, and the room itself felt outdated and poorly maintained. I ended up paying extra just to leave early in the evening. This experience was not worth the money or time. If you're looking for a decent, reliable stay in Chennai, avoid this property—it lacks basic hospitality and value for money.

I've been visiting Chennai for over a decade and have stayed in countless hotels, but Kolam Serviced Apartments truly stands out as something special.
