Philosopher's Walk is more than a scenic trail—it’s a living space where philosophy meets nature. Every Saturday afternoon features "Philosophy Dialogue Days," where local scholars and citizens gather at open-air tables along the path to discuss topics like existentialism, environmental ethics, and urban humanism. During fall, the "Leaf Poetry Festival" brings poets to recite original works beneath golden maple canopies, creating a moving fusion of art and season.

Interactive philosophical quote walls line the path, allowing visitors to scan QR codes and listen to audio clips from thinkers like Nietzsche, Dewey, and Wang Yangming. Bring a picnic blanket to relax on the grassy section during spring cherry blossom season, soaking in sunlight and intellectual ambiance. The campus also features the "Thought Corridor" exhibition, showcasing abstracts of award-winning philosophy papers with interactive touchscreens for deeper exploration.

Don’t miss the annual "Philosopher’s Walk Night Walk," led by student guides who weave in philosophical stories and impromptu dialogues along the path, blending literature, music, and ambient lighting. Afterward, enjoy a specially crafted "Contemplative Latte" at a campus café, inspired by the ideas of Heidegger and Dewey. Hotel X Toronto, a Destination by Hyatt Hotel

Staying at Hotel X Toronto, a Destination by Hyatt was an excellent experience from start to finish. The room offered stunning views, and the 28th-floor Japanese restaurant delivered both delicious food and breathtaking cityscapes—perfect for a memorable dinner. The front desk staff were warm and helpful, making check-in smooth and welcoming. What really stood out was how close the hotel is to the Coca-Cola Coliseum—ideal for concerts or events, with easy access whether walking or using public transit. The location, comfort, and service all hit the mark. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Toronto who values convenience and quality.

1 Hotel Toronto

My entire stay was fantastic! The check-in process was seamless and effortless. I was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade to one featuring a balcony—though the view wasn’t much to write home about (just a glass facade above, so you’re mostly looking up). Still, the space felt spacious and well-designed. The room itself was incredibly comfortable, especially the bed—perfect for a good night’s sleep. The hotel boasts heated floors, but despite leaving the feature on for about 30 minutes, I didn’t notice any difference in temperature. That said, it didn’t detract from the overall experience. The ambiance is modern and calming, staff were attentive without being intrusive, and the location makes exploring downtown Toronto easy—just a short walk or quick transit ride away. For the quality, comfort, and service, this place truly delivers. Definitely coming back.

Had the pleasure of staying at Shangri-La Toronto, and it truly stands out among all the hotels I've experienced in the city. From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome with a complimentary fruit platter set the tone for an exceptional stay. The room was spacious, elegantly designed, and perfectly quiet, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. Located just steps away from public transit, I found it easy to explore downtown, shopping areas, and great restaurants. The overall experience was beyond expectations—luxurious yet welcoming, and every little touch made me feel valued. If you're visiting Toronto, this is absolutely the place to stay. I’ll definitely be returning.

Bisha, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Toronto

Staying at Bisha, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Toronto was an absolute delight. The restaurant on the 44th floor was outstanding—every dish was beautifully presented and tasted even better. The adjacent Japanese restaurant was just as impressive, earning a perfect score in my book. As a brand-new property, cleanliness and maintenance were top-notch, which gave me peace of mind throughout my stay. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, friendly service—always attentive without being intrusive. From check-in to checkout, every interaction felt personalized and genuine. The location is also excellent, just a short walk or quick subway ride into downtown Toronto. If you're looking for a luxury experience with modern comfort, impeccable service, and a great dining scene, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

Delta Hotels by Marriott Toronto

The Delta Hotels by Marriott Toronto is brand new with stunning views and a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to assist—whether it’s for water or any other request, they’re prompt and warm. Breakfast quality is solid overall, though I noticed there were no vegetables and the variety was quite limited compared to other Marriott properties we’ve stayed at. Still, it’s one of the best locations for travelers relying on public transit—just a short walk from the train station and the bus stop heading to Niagara Falls. This convenience alone makes it our top pick for this trip, especially when considering value and location. Highly recommend for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize easy access to transportation.

The Novotel Toronto Centre

The Novotel Toronto Centre is perfectly located—just a 10-minute walk to Union Station and St. Lawrence Market, and only 5 minutes to Berczy Park. The hotel sits right next to a No Frills store, making it super convenient for grabbing last-minute snacks or essentials. Across the street, there’s a great stretch of restaurants and pubs—perfect for dinner or drinks after a long day. The staff are welcoming and helpful, and the amenities are well-maintained and complete. The room itself is spacious, modern, and spotless, with plenty of natural light. I especially loved the shower setup—being a rain shower fan, I appreciated the strong water pressure from both the overhead rainfall feature and the handheld showerhead. It made every morning feel like a little spa moment.

The Omni King Edward Hotel

Staying at The Omni King Edward Hotel was an absolute delight from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from St. Lawrence Market, where we grabbed delicious meals almost every day. Plus, both the subway and train stations are right nearby, making it super easy to explore downtown Toronto. The lobby is stunning, with elegant decor that captures the hotel’s rich history and local charm—feels like stepping into a piece of Toronto’s past. Staff were incredibly warm and attentive; when they noticed I was traveling with my child, they asked if I needed a double bed and, upon finding no such rooms available, upgraded me to a spacious suite on the second floor—no extra charge! They even recommended attending the annual Caribbean Carnival parade, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. The room was spotless, with only a slight scent from the carpet (which didn’t bother us much). Housekeeping was exceptionally thoughtful—they noticed our bottled water supply was low and restocked generously, and when they saw we had no toothpaste or toothbrushes, they quietly brought extras despite these not being standard in-room amenities. The restaurant staff went above and beyond too: not only did they waive my child’s breakfast fee, but they also gifted us bread and coffee. When I said I’d just have water, they insisted on bringing me a drink anyway—so generous! The hotel has over 100 years of history, and you can see vintage photos from the early 1900s hanging throughout the common areas—really adds character. One small suggestion: installing keycard access for elevators would boost security further. Also, the air conditioning unit is a bit noisy—could use a quiet upgrade. But overall, this place offers incredible value, exceptional service, and a truly memorable stay. I’d absolutely return.

The Yorkville Royal Sonesta Hotel Toronto

Absolutely recommend this hotel! Located right in the heart of Yorkville, it's incredibly convenient for exploring downtown Toronto—just a short walk to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The room was stylish and well-thought-out, with attention to small details that make a big difference, like the quality of linens and thoughtful touches throughout. The pool is compact but clean and inviting, especially in the evening when the lights come on—it creates such a relaxing vibe. The fitness center is modest in size but fully equipped and well-maintained, perfect for a quick workout. Staff at the front desk were friendly and efficient, and the valet service was seamless. With the location, amenities, and pricing, this place offers incredible value. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Toronto.

Cambridge Suites Toronto

We stayed at Cambridge Suites Toronto for five nights and couldn’t be happier with our experience. It was a last-minute switch after our Airbnb booking suddenly went unresponsive, but we’re so glad we found this hotel—it turned out to be a delightful surprise. The location is excellent: just a 5-minute walk from Queen Station, with an underground exit right in front of the hotel (though navigating the tunnels takes a bit of getting used to). If it rains, you’ll appreciate being able to walk straight inside. In about 7 minutes, you can reach the Eaton Centre, packed with urban dining options, and a short tram ride gets you to Chinatown. CN Tower and Harbour Front are roughly a 20-minute walk away—though taking the subway is definitely more convenient. Across the street is a 24-hour supermarket, which is super handy for snacks or essentials. The staff were incredibly friendly during check-in and check-out, and one housekeeping team member stood out for her warm, welcoming attitude. The room itself is spacious, modern, and feels brand new. We especially loved the living area—perfect for relaxing, watching TV, or enjoying dinner with takeout. The microwave is a real plus, though we’d have appreciated a basic kitchen setup too. One small note: I’d prefer the duvet to be in a cover rather than tucked between two sheets, which seems common in Canada—but honestly, it’s not a dealbreaker. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be back.
