We were thoroughly impressed with our stay! The rooms are spacious and perfect for four guests, impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The indoor pool is a real highlight—well-maintained and relaxing, definitely a standout feature. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable—right next to Tierpark Hagenbeck U-Bahn station, making travel around Hamburg super convenient. Plus, free outdoor parking on-site means no need to pay for underground garage spots—huge plus for drivers. One hiccup: during check-in, we discovered that only one of our two booked rooms was available. It turned out there was a system glitch between the booking platform and the hotel’s reservation system. We were understandably concerned, but the hotel went above and beyond by securing us another room even though the property was fully booked. Their quick response and willingness to help made a big difference. Overall, this place offers exceptional value, comfort, and service—definitely a top choice for future visits.

The room I booked (without a balcony) had everything I needed to feel completely self-sufficient: a huge refrigerator, full kitchenware including plates, glasses, cutlery, even a kettle and coffee maker. Everything you’d want for a cozy home-away-from-home experience. Grocery stores are literally right outside the door, and both Reeperbahn and the nearest U-Bahn station are just a 3-minute walk away — super convenient for exploring Hamburg. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was sleek and modern with excellent finishes. The only thing I’d suggest improving is adding air conditioning in the room, but honestly, that’s a tiny detail in an otherwise outstanding stay. I’ll definitely book a rooftop terrace room next time — imagine sipping coffee with views over the city! The team at Boardinghouse St. Pauli truly made my trip memorable. Highly recommend this place for travelers who value comfort, location, and genuine hospitality.
