The Hollywood Roosevelt

Staying at The Hollywood Roosevelt was an absolute delight from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—right on the edge of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with Madame Tussauds and the Chinese Theatre just across the street. It’s perfect for exploring on foot, and everything you’d want in LA is within walking distance. The valet and bell staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the front desk team took time to explain all the hotel amenities with genuine care. The rooftop pool area is lively and vibrant—perfect for a sunny October day in LA. I highly recommend the poolside ice cream; it’s generously sized and absolutely refreshing. The suite itself is spacious and full of vintage charm. The living room sofa is so comfortable I never wanted to leave it, and the bed in the bedroom was pure bliss—great sleep quality. The only minor downside is that the suite faces the street, so there’s some traffic noise, but the view of the bustling Walk of Fame from the window makes up for it completely. You’re literally steps away from iconic landmarks, and the atmosphere is electric. This place truly captures the spirit of old Hollywood. A must-stay if you're visiting LA.

Hollywood Historic Hotel

Staying at the Hollywood Historic Hotel was an absolute delight—truly a fantastic value for the price. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere feels like walking into a Parisian bistro, thanks to the elegant French-inspired architecture. As you climb the stairs, you're greeted by a long corridor lined with vintage black-and-white movie stills—most dating back over a century. It’s like wandering through a living museum of early Hollywood history. Each floor has its own gallery of timeless images, and honestly, you could easily spend half an hour just soaking in the details and stories behind each photo. The thought that these iconic faces are now gone, yet their legacy lives on in these pictures, gives the whole experience a deeply emotional touch. Despite being in the heart of LA, the hotel feels quiet, unique, and full of character. It’s rare to find such charm and authenticity at this price point—definitely a hidden gem worth visiting.

The Rosemary Silverlake

This place was absolutely incredible! From the moment I stepped inside, I was completely blown away—no idea what awaited me behind those doors. The room was unlike anything I’ve ever stayed in before, with so many thoughtful details that I barely had time to take them all in. I genuinely wished I could live there! The only minor note is how quiet it gets after 10 PM, but honestly, that’s just part of the charm and totally understandable. InterContinental - Los Angeles Downtown

First day in LA, and staying at this InterContinental was an absolute surprise! I was assigned to the 61st floor with a stunning city view—so much better than expected. The location is perfect: walking distance to convenience stores and fast food spots, and public transit is just around the corner. Sadly, my tight schedule meant I didn’t get to enjoy the pool, but the amenities throughout the hotel are top-notch. What really stood out was the value for money—this price for a high-floor room with such great views? Definitely worth it. A small downside: the lobby is on the 70th floor, so you have to take the elevator up there first, then go down to your room—slightly inconvenient. Also, valet parking comes with an extra fee of about $80 per night, which pushes the total cost close to $250 for the room alone. Still, despite these minor drawbacks, the overall experience was fantastic. I’d absolutely stay here again.
