The only minor downside is that bathrobes aren’t complimentary—they have to be requested, which felt a bit odd given how otherwise seamless the experience was. But honestly, that’s just a tiny detail in an otherwise outstanding stay. With its great ambiance, excellent service, and unbeatable value, this hotel is a top choice in Budapest. Located just 100 meters to the left of the hotel, there’s a charming little local neighborhood with cozy cafés and shops, while a larger shopping mall is only 200 meters away—perfect for quick errands or evening strolls. The metro station is within walking distance, making it easy to explore downtown Budapest. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with fresh bread, local cheeses, and friendly staff who made us feel welcome. Everything about this stay was top-notch—from location to service. I’d definitely return and recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest.

We arrived early, and despite not being check-in time yet, they let us in as early as 9 AM—super accommodating! They also offered currency exchange for Hungarian Forints, which was super helpful. The room was bright, clean, and spotless, with excellent natural light and a perfectly warm shower. It’s just a short walk to Heroes’ Square, and from there, exploring the city via Budapest’s historic yellow metro line (the first underground railway in Europe) was such a fun adventure. Everything about this stay was perfect—from location to service to comfort. Highly recommend this gem!

The triple room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for a good night's sleep. Every corner was meticulously cleaned, and the breakfast spread was impressive with plenty of variety and delicious options. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a short metro ride to Parliament and the Pest side attractions. I even caught the stunning nighttime view of Parliament at 10 PM, and on day three, I headed to Fisherman’s Bastion at 5 AM for sunrise—no hassle at all. Unfortunately, I wanted to extend my stay by one more night, but there were no rooms available. That says it all about how popular this place is. Highly recommend for travelers who value comfort, cleanliness, and great location. Would definitely return—this is one of the best stays I’ve had in Budapest!

The Elit Hotel is well located and convenient for getting around Budapest, especially with easy access to public transit. The rooms are clean and comfortable, offering good value for money. However, we arrived right on the check-in time as scheduled, but the room wasn’t ready yet—cleaning staff hadn’t finished, so we had to wait a bit before entering. Also, the daily key return and reissue system felt inconvenient, and the lack of a 24-hour front desk made things less smooth. While the hotel is solid overall, these small issues prevented it from being a perfect 5/5. Would still recommend it, but improvements in service flow would make a big difference.
