What really made the stay special were the two chubby, adorable cats who were absolutely loveable and very relaxed around guests. There was also a quirky rooster that added a unique charm to the place. I couldn’t help but focus all my attention on the cats and the rooster, so I only managed to snap a few shots of them—sorry I didn’t capture more of the surroundings! The location is excellent—very close to both the Third Beach and the Badaguan area, making it easy to explore on foot or by subway. With such a warm atmosphere, great vibes, and unforgettable little residents, this place truly stands out. I’d definitely come back if I ever visit Qingdao again!

This homestay is perfectly located—everything I wanted to see was just a short walk away. The Lu Xun Park on Qinyu Road is literally a 5-minute stroll, and the Navy Museum is directly across the street. It’s only a 7-8 minute walk to the Underwater World, and the historic Zhanshao Pier is about 10-12 minutes away. Even the trendy Daxue Road district is just a quick 5-minute walk. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and surprisingly affordable for such a great location. I couldn’t believe how good the value was—this place offers comfort, convenience, and charm all in one. Highly recommend for travelers who want to explore Qingdao without the hassle of long commutes.

Staying at InterContinental Qingdao was a delightful surprise! The front desk staff went above and beyond by upgrading me to a sea view room—though it wasn’t on the highest floor, the ocean views were still stunning and made the stay very enjoyable. The fitness center has well-maintained equipment, and although I didn’t get a chance to swim due to time constraints, the pool looked clean and inviting. It’s just a 5-minute walk to Haixin Plaza, making shopping and dining super convenient. I especially want to thank the friendly front desk agent who checked me in (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name) and Jennifer at check-out for her exceptional attention to detail—she even helped extend my checkout time without hassle. The service, comfort, and location all exceeded expectations. This is definitely a hotel I’d recommend and return to.
