GangShe Rooftop View Hotel l (Guilin Two Rivers And Four Lakes Elephant Trunk Hill)
Staying at GangShe Rooftop View Hotel was an absolute highlight of my trip to Guilin. The location is unbeatable—right across from the bustling Zhengyang Pedestrian Street, just steps away from the historic Dongxiang Alley. I couldn’t have asked for a better spot to explore local street food: famous spots like Jiangjun Roast Chicken and taro pastries were all within walking distance, making it easy to enjoy a delicious meal without leaving the neighborhood. On the ground floor, there’s Guihua Community offering unique cultural souvenirs—perfect for gifts or keepsakes. Just a 7-minute walk takes you to Blade Bookstore, and the iconic Ri Yue Twin Towers are only about 10 minutes down the pedestrian street. Across the way, there’s also a flagship Snow King store where you can grab exclusive snacks, collectible items, and limited-edition drinks. Plus, right on the ninth floor of the same building is Pu Shi Restaurant—highly recommended for its amazing food and stunning views. No need to wander far; dining and scenery come together seamlessly. Getting around was effortless too—rides arrived almost instantly. The staff truly stood out: friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive. Special thanks to Liu Yang, who personally escorted us to our room, answered every question with care, and even gave helpful travel tips. His dedication made our stay so much more comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast was another win—diverse options combining both Western and Chinese flavors, with the local rice noodles being particularly delicious. Room layout was smart and spacious, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows letting in plenty of natural light. Everything was spotless, from linens to cleaning standards—no corners cut. This hotel offers incredible value and a memorable experience. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Guilin.
LiCLOUDS HOTEL (Guilin Two Rivers and Four Lakes Xiangshan Park)
The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. Just a short walk away from a fantastic roast duck spot—perfect for a quick dinner without having to search far. From here, it’s an easy stroll to Xiangshan Park and the Moon and Sun Towers, making sightseeing so convenient and saving us a lot of time. The staff were incredibly professional and attentive, even upgrading our room at no extra cost—such a thoughtful touch! The view from the room overlooks the river and the city skyline, offering stunning scenery every morning. Breakfast was excellent—plenty of options and great quality—and the dining area was spacious and well-organized. What really surprised me was discovering that this hotel is actually a stop on the airport shuttle route. We left early for the airport, and it made getting there so much easier. The Wi-Fi name is a bit funny, but connecting was straightforward and reliable. Overall, this place is a top choice for anyone visiting Guilin City. It’s convenient, comfortable, and offers real value—highly recommend!
