The 13th-floor lobby offers breathtaking views of Guilin’s scenic landscape—truly stunning. The location is perfect—just 3 bus stops to Elephant Trunk Hill, 1 stop to the Jingjiang Prince's Mansion, and only 6 stops to Guilin North Railway Station. Taxis never cost more than $20, making it super convenient for travelers on a budget. This hotel delivers an excellent balance of comfort, service, and value—definitely a top pick if you're visiting Guilin.

From the room, you can enjoy stunning views of the lake, especially at night when the lights come on—it’s breathtaking. After dinner, we loved strolling along the lakeside path; it’s such a peaceful way to unwind. The breakfast was simple but satisfying—good quality and tasty options. Dinner was equally impressive, with delicious local flavors and well-prepared dishes. Staff were attentive and responsive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered. I’d definitely book here again next time I visit Guilin.

Staying at Shangri-La Guilin was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Our guest host Emily went above and beyond—she reached out in advance to learn about our preferences and even prepared thoughtful little amenities for our child. The housekeeping staff, Jongche, was incredibly attentive, personally escorting us to our room and giving a detailed walk-through of the hotel’s facilities with genuine warmth. The room itself beautifully blends modern comfort with traditional northern Guangxi charm—our bed was so cozy we slept like babies all night. But the real highlight? The evening view: as dusk fell, the river lights gently lit up the scene outside our window, turning the Li River into a shimmering canvas. Absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast was fantastic—wide variety, delicious quality—and the local beer fish at the Chinese restaurant was authentic and mouthwatering. Pool attendant Tang Jundong was patient and welcoming, guiding us straight to the pool area with a smile. Every touch felt personal, every service thoughtful. This isn’t just a hotel—it’s a home away from home. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back.

Staying at Lijiang Waterfall Hotel in Guilin was an absolutely delightful experience. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with all the essentials—comfortable bed, modern amenities, and a nice view. Breakfast started early at 6:30 AM, which was perfect for those of us planning to hit the city early. It was abundant and offered a good mix of local and international options. The evening waterfall show was breathtaking—colorful lights dancing with water, creating a magical atmosphere. I was also pleasantly surprised by the complimentary osmanthus cake delivered to my room—a sweet little touch that added charm to the stay. The front desk staff, especially Xiao Mei, was incredibly helpful and professional. She answered every question about parking, dining, and nearby attractions clearly and efficiently, showing real dedication to guest satisfaction. From start to finish, this hotel exceeded expectations. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Guilin.

This was my second visit to Guilin, and while my friend ended up arriving a day late, I decided to upgrade from the twin room to a Executive Panoramic King Room on-site — and honestly, it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The moment I stepped into the room, I was instantly captivated by the expansive view of the Jiàtiāxià Exhibition Center Plaza outside the floor-to-ceiling windows — so bright and open, it felt like stepping into a postcard. There was even a fresh fruit platter waiting on the table. As always, I took a few minutes to check every corner of the room, which is just habit after years of traveling. While the space felt generous for solo use, that only added to the comfort and sense of luxury. Cleanliness was top-notch: spotless, well-organized, and thoughtfully designed with clear separation between bathroom, shower, and bathtub areas — a smart dry-wet division that works perfectly. One thing I always worry about when staying in hotels? Noise, bed comfort, and bedding weight. But here, not a single concern arose. No sound from the hallway or outside, and the pillows were just right — supportive yet soft. The blanket was lightweight but cozy, and I slept through the night like a baby. Right after check-in, the concierge messaged me via WeChat to share local tips and explain the layout of the building. Later that evening, a sweet gesture: a complimentary cup of chrysanthemum, goji berry, and loquat tea delivered by a friendly staff member — such a thoughtful touch. Of course, I came here partly for the infinity pool, and wow — it lived up to expectations. The panoramic view of surrounding mountains through the glass wall looked almost like a scene from a classical Chinese painting. Perfect for photographers and anyone who loves a scenic swim. Water temperature was ideal at 28°C during winter (26°C in summer), strictly maintained according to national standards. The transparent roof lets in sunlight all day, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. On sunny days, you can even catch a stunning sunset from the water’s edge — though today was cloudy, I still lingered there longer than planned, lost in the view, until I realized how hungry I’d become. Time for dinner! Adjacent to the pool is a well-equipped fitness center with treadmills, chest press machines, back pull-downs, leg extension equipment, and adjustable dumbbells — great for regular gym-goers. And kudos to the hotel for having a dedicated laundry and drying room; in humid Guilin, especially during rainy spells, this feature is absolutely essential and incredibly convenient. Breakfast was another highlight — far better than most mid-tier hotels. Plenty of variety, including freshly made Guilin rice noodles and oil tea, plus standard Western options. It felt satisfying and authentic, not just a quick bite. A small suggestion: adding a pack of wet wipes in the bathroom would be a lovely upgrade. Overall, this stay exceeded all expectations — great value, excellent service, and unforgettable views.

Absolutely loved staying at this hotel—location couldn’t be better, right by the Rong Lake with a peaceful view from the lobby. I was expecting an older property, but was pleasantly surprised by the modern Western-style architecture and clean, fresh-smelling rooms. No musty odors at all, just crisp, well-maintained spaces. The price is very reasonable for what you get—great value for money. Everything you need is within walking distance: great local eateries, shops, and evening strolls along the lake. One night, we stopped by a small noodle shop near the hotel and tried their braised goose—half a bird for only 46 yuan! It was delicious, juicy, and full of flavor, and everyone back home raved about it when we brought some back. The affordability here really stands out—food and services feel so budget-friendly without sacrificing quality. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, offering great tips on local spots to visit. This place feels like a hidden gem in Guilin. If you're visiting, don't miss it—it’s definitely one of my top picks for future trips.

Cleanliness is top-notch; the staff, especially the housekeeping team, are incredibly diligent and keep the entire property spotless. The location is perfect—just a 10-minute walk from Elephant Trunk Hill, with scenic river views along the way. That said, there’s ongoing construction near the river path, so I’d recommend checking with the hotel staff for the best route before heading out. Service truly stands out—the front desk team was warm and welcoming, with a gentleman even helping carry my luggage after parking. Plus, a dedicated concierge is available 24/7; any request or question was answered almost instantly. It’s rare to find such thoughtful hospitality combined with modern comfort. Staying at GangShe Rooftop View Hotel was an absolute highlight of my trip to Guilin. The location is unbeatable—right across from the bustling Zhengyang Pedestrian Street, just steps away from the historic Dongxiang Alley. I couldn’t have asked for a better spot to explore local street food: famous spots like Jiangjun Roast Chicken and taro pastries were all within walking distance, making it easy to enjoy a delicious meal without leaving the neighborhood. On the ground floor, there’s Guihua Community offering unique cultural souvenirs—perfect for gifts or keepsakes. Just a 7-minute walk takes you to Blade Bookstore, and the iconic Ri Yue Twin Towers are only about 10 minutes down the pedestrian street. Across the way, there’s also a flagship Snow King store where you can grab exclusive snacks, collectible items, and limited-edition drinks. Plus, right on the ninth floor of the same building is Pu Shi Restaurant—highly recommended for its amazing food and stunning views. No need to wander far; dining and scenery come together seamlessly. Getting around was effortless too—rides arrived almost instantly. The staff truly stood out: friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive. Special thanks to Liu Yang, who personally escorted us to our room, answered every question with care, and even gave helpful travel tips. His dedication made our stay so much more comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast was another win—diverse options combining both Western and Chinese flavors, with the local rice noodles being particularly delicious. Room layout was smart and spacious, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows letting in plenty of natural light. Everything was spotless, from linens to cleaning standards—no corners cut. This hotel offers incredible value and a memorable experience. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Guilin.

Public buses stop right outside, making it super easy to explore major attractions without hassle. Evenings are just as charming: take a relaxing stroll along the riverside, enjoy the city lights, or head to the nearby night market. But what truly blew me away was the rooftop garden—serene, spacious, and absolutely picture-perfect. Daily afternoon tea served from 2 to 4 PM is a delightful treat, where you can sip on tea and enjoy pastries while gazing over the lush mountains and winding rivers. The lobby? A masterpiece of modern Chinese design—crystal chandeliers sparkle above elegant screen partitions, creating an atmosphere that’s both refined and Instagram-ready. I couldn’t stop taking photos with my friends, and honestly, every shot felt like a postcard. This place isn’t just a stay—it’s an experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for charm, convenience, and beauty all in one.

We stayed at Tailian Hotel during our trip to Guilin, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Upon check-in, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade to a spacious room featuring a bathtub—our kids absolutely loved taking nightly baths, and the hotel even provided disposable bathtub covers for hygiene. The staff followed our special request for a non-smoking room and had all the baby essentials ready, including toys and baby-safe amenities. The room was spotless, fresh, and free of any unpleasant odors—very important when traveling with little ones. They also offered a free baby stroller, which made navigating the city much easier. The lobby served complimentary loquat tea, a local favorite, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic—varied, fresh, and well-prepared with both Western and Chinese options. Perfect for fueling up before heading out to explore nearby attractions like Li River and Elephant Trunk Hill. While there’s no full-length mirror or extendable makeup mirror in the room, this minor detail didn’t detract from the overall experience. The location is unbeatable—everything is within walking distance, and there are countless restaurants just steps away. With excellent service, great value, and family-friendly facilities, we’ll definitely be returning next time we visit Guilin. Highly recommended!
