Royalty Suites Psyrri

Staying at Royalty Suites Psyrri was an absolute delight from start to finish. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable—bed was plush, the lighting was perfect, and everything felt thoughtfully designed. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of fresh, delicious options, including local Greek specialties that really made the meal special. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, always smiling and going the extra mile to ensure we had a smooth stay. What stood out most was the location—perfectly situated in the heart of Psyrri, where you get the buzz of the city without the noise. It’s quiet enough to relax but close to all the action: cafes, shops, street art, and major sights are just a 20-minute walk away. No need for taxis or long commutes. I left feeling completely satisfied and already planning my next trip back to Athens—this is definitely the hotel I’ll book again. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Athenian House in Plaka Villa by Athenian Homes

Our stay at Athenian House in Plaka Villa was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. Aspa was an incredible host—responsive, warm, and always ready to help with any question or request. Her recommendation for breakfast at the restaurant next door turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip; the food was delicious, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short, pleasant walk to the Acropolis, surrounded by charming streets, local shops, and authentic Greek eateries. We appreciated how quiet and peaceful the villa felt despite being in the heart of Plaka. It’s clear that attention to detail and genuine hospitality are at the core of this property. If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-located, and thoughtfully managed place to stay in Athens, this is it. We’ll definitely return.

Acropolis View Deluxe Penthouse & Luxury Apartments

Absolutely worth the rave! This was by far the best value accommodation we’ve had on this trip. The location is unbeatable—just a 5-minute walk to both the Acropolis Museum and the metro station, and only about 10 minutes on foot to the Acropolis itself. Waking up to views of the Acropolis during morning runs or evening strolls? Pure magic. There’s also a great selection of restaurants and shops right outside, including Opos—a popular local eatery just across the street. The apartment matched the photos exactly: two separate bedrooms (one with twin beds, the other with a king), a spacious living-dining area, two bathrooms, and two balconies. Plus, the sofa bed in the living room easily accommodated another adult—perfect for families or friends traveling together. If you booked two standard hotel rooms, you’d be paying double what we paid for this entire apartment. Heating worked perfectly every night, and despite being near the street, the soundproofing kept everything quiet and peaceful. The hosts were incredibly warm and attentive—they sent multiple follow-up emails in English to confirm our arrival details, which was very thoughtful. One thing to note: there’s no front desk service. Check-in isn’t until noon, so if you arrive earlier, the building will be completely empty. We showed up early hoping to drop off luggage at the front desk, but no one was around. We ended up leaving our bags with an elderly gentleman at a nearby café who kindly helped us out. No cleaning service either—no need to tip, and breakfast isn’t included, but there are plenty of cafes near the museum serving delicious morning options. Overall, an exceptional stay—comfortable, convenient, and full of charm. Highly recommended!

Villa Amaryllis

Staying at Villa Amaryllis was a delightful experience from start to finish. The villa itself is beautifully designed, well-appointed, and perfectly situated for exploring Athens. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. While there were a few minor areas for improvement—like occasional Wi-Fi fluctuations, shower curtains that could do with being more effective at preventing water splashes, and remote controls with weak batteries—the overall stay was excellent. We truly enjoyed our time here, appreciating the peaceful atmosphere and the home-like feel. It’s a fantastic choice for travelers looking for a quiet retreat with easy access to the city. Would definitely recommend and return.

Ulysses Apartments Acropolis

Stayed for just one night, but the experience was absolutely perfect. The apartment is spacious and incredibly comfortable, exactly as described on the platform. Its location is ideal—super close to the Acropolis and easy to reach by metro. The kitchen is well-equipped, making it feel like a home away from home, even for longer stays. After booking, I received the Wi-Fi password (speed around 35 Mb/s—great for streaming) and clear instructions for entry. One tip: you’ll need internet to set up the digital door key, so it’s best to do this before arrival. If you forget, like me, just hold your phone against the door frame—you can often catch the apartment’s Wi-Fi signal long enough to get it done. Everything ran smoothly with no hiccups. No negatives at all. Highly recommend this place for a stress-free, enjoyable stay in Athens.

I especially loved the rooftop terrace on the 9th floor, which offered breathtaking views of the Acropolis, perfect for sunset moments. Mono Lofts

Staying at Mono Lofts was an absolute delight. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the Agora and within easy reach of all the major sights in Athens. We walked to the Acropolis and back, enjoying the charming neighborhoods along the way, which added such a nice local flavor to our trip. The bathroom is compact by American standards, but it’s well-designed and functional—no complaints here. The view and sounds from the patio were truly special; relaxing out there in the evening with the city buzz around you made for a memorable experience. This place offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and authentic atmosphere. A fantastic stay in one of the most vibrant parts of the city.

The Stanley

Staying at The Stanley Hotel in Athens was an absolute highlight of my trip. The location is unbeatable—just a 2-minute walk from the metro station, making it super easy to explore the city. While the room itself is fairly standard with basic amenities like a TV, mini-fridge, and safe, it’s clean, comfortable, and perfectly functional. What truly sets this hotel apart is the rooftop pool. With panoramic 360-degree views, you can see the Acropolis framed by the skyline, especially breathtaking during sunset when the sky turns golden and the ancient ruins glow in the fading light. It’s the perfect spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. For a great balance of convenience, charm, and stunning views, this hotel delivers on every level—highly recommend.

Novus City Hotel

Staying in the top-floor room was a game-changer—the view of the Acropolis was absolutely breathtaking. I could see it from my window every morning, which made the whole experience so special. The room itself was spacious and well-designed; even with two suitcases laid out, there was still plenty of room to move around. The fridge was a nice touch, and the shower had excellent water pressure—hot water came on instantly, which made for a very comfortable stay, especially since the room stayed warmly cozy throughout. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the porter—they gladly stored our luggage and made everything so easy. This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. A fantastic place to stay, and I’ll definitely recommend it to friends. Thank you for such a memorable visit!

Athenian Lofts

Absolutely fantastic experience! We had a wonderful stay at the Athenian Lofts apartments in Athens, and everything exceeded our expectations. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the Acropolis (about 900m), the Ancient Agora (400m), Monastiraki Square (200m), and Syntagma Square (also around 900m). You can easily explore the heart of the city on foot, which made our trip so convenient and enjoyable. The apartment was immaculate—spotlessly clean, exactly as shown in the photos online. Even though the building has a historic feel due to its central location, the renovation is stunning, with tasteful decor and modern furnishings throughout. The bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on—truly luxurious. The shower delivered strong water pressure and had easy temperature control, while the bathroom fixtures were brand new and well-maintained. George, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. He met us at the door, gave us a warm welcome, and offered assistance with check-in and transportation needs. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality made our stay feel personal and stress-free. This was a truly memorable experience, and we’re already planning to come back. If you’re looking for a perfect base in Athens, this place is a must-book.
