Staying at Meliá Lisboa Aeroporto was a great experience overall. The hotel's location is perfect—just a 10-minute walk from the airport, and while there’s a free shuttle service, the pickup point isn’t very easy to find, so walking turned out to be simpler and more convenient. The room is compact but spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was excellent—plenty of fresh bread, eggs, fruits, and drinks to choose from. One thing to note: like most European hotels, they don’t provide toothbrushes or slippers, so pack your own. Despite that small detail, the value for money is solid, and I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Lisbon.

We stayed for four nights and absolutely loved it! The room came with fresh fruit, milk, eggs, coffee, and tea—such a thoughtful welcome. The kitchen was fully equipped with a dishwasher and a coffee maker, making self-catering super convenient. Initially, we were assigned a room with a glass-enclosed toilet and bathtub, which wasn’t quite our style, so we requested a change the next day. They moved us to a ground-floor room with a regular bathroom—quick and hassle-free. Everything else was perfect: clean, quiet, well-located near the metro, and great value for money. Would definitely book again if ever in Lisbon!

The Rooftop
Staying at The Rooftop by Imperium in Lisbon was a fantastic experience, especially for a group. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the metro or a quick taxi ride away. We arrived early and were greeted warmly by Sandro and his team, who kindly stored our luggage while the rooms were being prepared. Though we had to climb up to the 5th floor via stairs (no elevator), it was worth every step once we reached the rooftop. The property is split into three distinct sections with green doors, each secured by a wall safe holding the main keys—great for privacy since not all rooms came with individual keys. The four rooms near the castle felt newer and led directly to the pool area, offering stunning views of Lisbon’s rooftops and the city skyline. With private rooms for everyone (one room combines two singles, totaling ten beds), it's perfect for groups wanting both comfort and independence. Local bars are lively and close by—on one evening, we even caught live music right down the street! Breakfast was a highlight: fresh pastries, cold cuts, or eggs cooked your way. It’s a great base for exploring Lisbon, combining convenience, charm, and a welcoming vibe. Definitely planning to return.
