Alfama Premium Apartment

Staying at Alfama Premium Apartment was a real highlight of my trip to Lisbon. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from lively bars, cozy cafes, and authentic local restaurants, with the heart of the city easily reachable within 15 minutes on foot. The apartment itself is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a short stay. That said, if you're planning a longer visit, you might find the storage space a bit limited. Also worth noting: the building has no elevator, so it’s not ideal for guests with mobility challenges. There were a few minor communication issues early on, and a nearby road closure did cause a slight delay in getting settled, but overall access was manageable. One tip: avoid unlicensed airport taxis—they can be overpriced. With that said, I had an excellent experience, loved the neighborhood vibe, and would definitely book again.

Guest Inn Alfama Apartaments

I stayed at Guest Inn Alfama Apartaments from May 24 to 28 in Lisbon, located on Rua das Escolas Gerais, 122, Apartment 1C. Check-in was supposed to be available at 3 PM on the 24th, but when I arrived at 4 PM, the apartment wasn’t ready — not even cleaned. There was no check-in instruction or contact information at the building entrance. It was only after a cleaning staff member called someone from Homing that we were finally received. The building’s lobby looked filthy and poorly maintained, giving off an abandoned vibe. Once inside the apartment, the condition was shocking: broken taps, a dirty bathroom, stained sofas and chairs, dusty and stained floors, and grimy walls. The kitchen lacked basic essentials for a simple breakfast — no knives, no cups, not even a single plate mat. There was no note or sign with Wi-Fi details anywhere. To make matters worse, the first aid kit contained a rusty pair of scissors, an opened and used alcohol sachet, and a saline solution past its expiry date. This was by far the worst accommodation experience throughout our entire trip. The place felt rundown, neglected, and completely not worth even a third of the price we paid. I’m extremely disappointed in the service quality from Homing and will not use their platform again — nor recommend it to anyone I know.

Ando Living - São Nicolau House

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at Ando Living São Nicolau House in Lisbon! The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from local cafes, shops, and public transit, making it super easy to explore the city. The apartment itself is spacious, stylish, and very comfortable, with modern amenities that made our trip feel seamless. We appreciated the quiet, residential vibe and the privacy it offered. One thing to note: there’s no front desk or concierge service, so you won’t be able to check in ahead of time or store luggage. But for travelers who value independence and a home-like atmosphere, this is a perfect fit. Overall, a fantastic experience with great value and a central spot—highly recommend!

If you're a history lover who enjoys self-catering and exploring off the beaten path, this place is absolutely perfect. My studio was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed—especially the full kitchen, which made mornings easy with homemade breakfasts or quick snacks. The neighborhood of Alfama never fails to surprise: every corner reveals a hidden gem—an old building, a local shop, a breathtaking view, or just that authentic Lisbon vibe. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help with tips or recommendations. Plus, the Fado Museum and public transport are just steps away. O Elétrico Guesthouse

Staying at O Elétrico Guesthouse was an absolute highlight of my trip to Lisbon! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, with easy access to public transit and all major attractions. I walked to several key spots within minutes, which made exploring so convenient. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and cozy—clean linens, modern touches, and a peaceful vibe. Breakfast was fantastic: fresh, abundant, and full of local flavors that made mornings special. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, attentive service—always smiling, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. What really stood out was how much value you get for the price. It’s not just affordable; it feels like a premium experience without the premium price tag. If you’re visiting Lisbon, this guesthouse should be at the top of your list. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

The room was excellent—clean, well-maintained, and comfortably furnished with everything we needed. The bed was particularly cozy, making for a restful night’s sleep. What really stood out was the location: just steps from the metro station, which made getting around Lisbon effortless. There were also plenty of local cafes and casual eateries nearby, perfect for grabbing a quick bite or coffee. Overall, this hotel offers fantastic value for money, especially for travelers who want convenience without breaking the bank. Our stay exceeded expectations, and I’d definitely book here again on future visits to Lisbon.

Palácio do Visconde - the Coffee Experience

We came here with friends to try out the brand-new brunch experience at Palácio do Visconde, and it completely lived up to the hype. I’d visited before for breakfast—delicious—but this brunch was on another level. The food was exceptional, the coffee-infused drinks were inventive and perfectly balanced, and every dish we tried left us impressed. Portions were generous, service was warm and attentive, and the overall vibe was elegant yet relaxed. It’s clear they put real thought into every detail. We’ll definitely be back—maybe even more than once. A standout experience in Lisbon’s culinary scene.

Dare Lisbon House

We stayed for four nights and absolutely loved it! The room came with fresh fruit, milk, eggs, coffee, and tea—such a thoughtful welcome. The kitchen was fully equipped with a dishwasher and a coffee maker, making self-catering super convenient. Initially, we were assigned a room with a glass-enclosed toilet and bathtub, which wasn’t quite our style, so we requested a change the next day. They moved us to a ground-floor room with a regular bathroom—quick and hassle-free. Everything else was perfect: clean, quiet, well-located near the metro, and great value for money. Would definitely book again if ever in Lisbon!

Memoria Lisboa FLH Hotels

Staying at Memoria Lisboa FLH Hotels made my trip truly unforgettable. Three wonderful days filled with joy, and the location was perfect—walking distance to everything I wanted to explore. If you're arriving from São Sebastião Station with heavy luggage, be prepared for a slight uphill climb, but it's not too steep. The room service burger was surprisingly delicious—better than expected! Every detail felt thoughtfully designed. I’d absolutely stay here again if I ever return to Lisbon.
