Vila Garden Guesthouse
I was genuinely blown away by the experience at Vila Garden Guesthouse. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome made us feel right at home. The property is beautifully situated—serene and peaceful, yet just a short walk from Lisbon's vibrant city center. We loved how convenient it was to explore on foot or hop on the metro nearby. The room was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and had everything we needed—especially the cozy bed that made for an excellent night’s sleep. Small touches like complimentary coffee and tea were a lovely surprise. The quiet neighborhood meant restful nights, with only distant church bells breaking the stillness. It truly captured the charm of old Lisbon. I’d highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for comfort, authenticity, and a little slice of European tranquility.

Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight from start to finish. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the metro and within easy reach of all the city's main attractions. The staff went above and beyond—especially Bruno and Elisabete, who were genuinely warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful. Their professionalism and kindness truly stood out. We appreciated every little detail they took care of, making our stay feel personalized and special. The room was spacious, quiet, and beautifully designed, offering comfort and style in equal measure. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. This will definitely be my go-to choice for future trips to Lisbon—can’t wait to come back.

The stay at Varandas de Lisboa was fantastic overall! The lobby and bathroom were spotless and well-designed, giving a real sense of quality. While the room isn’t large, it’s smartly laid out and very functional for a comfortable stay. What really stood out was how many great restaurants are right around the corner—whether you’re craving traditional Portuguese fare or something more international, there’s something for everyone. Plus, getting to downtown Lisbon via metro is super convenient. It’s an excellent choice for travelers looking for value and location without compromising on comfort.
Sant Jordi Hostels Lisbon
The hostel is located on a hill, but getting there is actually very convenient. Once you exit the Intendente Metro station, head to the Igreja Anjos bus stop across the street. Take bus 734 or 17B, or hop on tram 28 or 28E—just a short ride to the closest stop. The 17B bus even drops you right opposite Sant Jordi Hostels, so you’re just a quick walk away. Easy access, great location, and super convenient for exploring Lisbon. Definitely worth it!

Plus, the balcony offers a charming view of Lisbon’s colorful houses, especially lovely during sunset. This place strikes the perfect balance between comfort, convenience, and character. It’s not just a stay—it’s an experience. Highly recommend for travelers who want a homey yet stylish base in Lisbon.

This has been my third visit to Lisbon, and without a doubt, Be Lisbon Hostel Intendente is still my top pick. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the main attractions and right next to the metro station, making it super easy to explore the city. The dorm rooms are clean, well-organized, and offer great value for money. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always ready to share local tips or organize fun activities. I especially appreciate the free city guides and the welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Whether you're traveling solo or with friends, this hostel delivers an authentic and memorable stay. I’ll definitely be back—highly recommend!
House Petit Lusa
We stayed for three nights at the end of May, traveling with two adults and a teenager. While it’s listed as a hostel, this place feels more like a well-maintained guesthouse with a true Lisbon charm. The rooms and common areas are compact but thoughtfully designed—everything you need is there. Breakfast was excellent, offering a good variety of both sweet and savory options. The staff were warm and helpful, and we appreciated being able to store our luggage after check-out at no extra cost. What really stood out was how much better it was to book directly with them rather than through third-party platforms—better rates, flexibility, and easy cancellation right up to the last minute.
