The room features self-check-in, which made the entire process super convenient—no waiting in line, especially helpful when arriving late at night. The cleanliness was impressive for a budget-friendly option; the bed was fresh and clean, and the bathroom had no unpleasant odors. Despite being an economical hotel, the overall quality exceeded expectations. The price point is very reasonable, offering great value for money. Ibis Brussels Centre Châtelain

This Ibis property stands out as one of the best I’ve stayed at—great location with a bus stop right across the street, making it super convenient for getting around Brussels. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, offering a comfortable stay. I didn’t dine at their restaurant, so I can’t speak to the food quality, but overall experience was excellent. Highly recommended for any traveler looking for a reliable and well-located base in the city.

Chic Cocoon Guest House

I was incredibly lucky—when all flights were canceled due to a strike in Belgium, I ended up staying at a place that felt like home. It reminded me of the old houses I’ve read about in fairy tales. From the moment I stepped inside, I was completely amazed. The layout was truly unique: I had to climb two flights of stairs to reach my room, which made it feel like I was heading toward a princess’s chamber in a magical world. When I finally reached my door, I couldn’t believe it was a tall, grand double door—I almost expected a royal welcome. The room itself was spacious and beautifully appointed, complete with a fireplace I’d always dreamed of having. Even the door lock used an old-fashioned key, the kind you often see worn as a decorative pendant. For someone used to living in concrete high-rises and riding elevators daily, this experience felt like stepping straight into a storybook. Yes, it wasn’t perfect—maybe no fairy tale house ever is—but that imperfection is part of its charm. This stay was unforgettable, deeply special, and exactly the kind of escape I needed during a chaotic travel day.

Hotel Mercure Brussels Airport

The hotel's location is great for airport access—super convenient if you're catching a flight. However, the staff attitude was disappointing. Most airport personnel seemed unfriendly and unapproachable, even when I politely asked questions. It felt awkward and discouraging, especially when I needed urgent medical assistance. I had to wait in a long line of about 100 people just to go through passport control, with zero empathy or support. This lack of care really affected my experience. I hope the team can improve training and customer service so future guests don’t face the same frustration.

Sleep Well Youth Hostel

I had a great stay overall at this hostel—everything was excellent except for one noisy roommate who snored loudly throughout the night. That said, it wasn’t the hostel’s fault, just an unavoidable part of shared accommodations. The location is convenient: close to shopping areas and restaurants, with easy access to buses heading to the train station. While it’s not right next to the station, the bus ride is short and affordable. I’d recommend using the luggage storage service offered here if you’re arriving with heavy bags—saving you from carrying them all the way. The common areas are clean, staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere feels welcoming. Perfect for budget travelers who want comfort and convenience without breaking the bank. Would definitely come back!

The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with local tips or anything else needed. Location-wise, it’s incredibly convenient—just a short walk from the metro and close to major attractions. I loved the peaceful vibe and the attention to cleanliness throughout the property. It’s rare to find such a great balance between comfort, affordability, and quality. I’d definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone visiting Brussels.

Jacques Brel Hostel

Staying at Jacques Brel Hostel in Brussels was a real highlight of my trip! The room was compact but spotlessly clean, with comfortable bedding and just enough space for a solo traveler. What stood out most was how well-maintained the shared bathroom and shower areas were—no lingering odors, no grime, everything was fresh and tidy. At this price point, the cleanliness and comfort are truly impressive. The location is excellent too—just a short metro ride from the city center, surrounded by great cafes, restaurants, and lively local spots. I loved being able to walk around and explore without needing a long commute. Overall, this hostel delivers outstanding value and a welcoming vibe. A truly memorable stay.

Villa Sablon

The location is excellent—very convenient for public transit and close to everything we wanted to explore. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. From the moment we arrived, things went downhill. We couldn’t get into our room because it was locked with no staff available at the front desk. After multiple attempts to reach someone by phone (despite their email saying 'call us anytime'), we were only able to communicate via WhatsApp. When we finally got a response, we were told to use another room instead—though that one wasn’t even ready. The room we were supposed to stay in hadn’t been cleaned at all when we arrived at 8 PM; there were still dirty linens and towels left behind from a previous guest. We had to wait until 10:30 PM before housekeeping showed up. We reached out several times via text asking for a partial refund, but received no reply. It felt like our concerns were completely ignored. While the location is a strong point, the lack of on-site support, poor communication, and unprofessional handling made this experience extremely frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend staying here and would not return.
