Instead, it felt like a quiet museum by the sea: minimalist, artistic, deeply atmospheric. There was something about it that screamed ‘escape’—and I knew instantly, this was the one. I booked three nights on the spot. Driving two hours from Cancún, I arrived tired and still carrying the weight of city life. I walked into the property with my guard up, still in serious mode. But as I made my way toward the lobby, the vibe shifted—calm, mysterious, immersive. And then came Yair, the front desk staff, whose warm, genuine smile (and striking looks!) instantly melted my stress. He greeted me like an old friend. This trip was actually for my birthday—a solo celebration—and the hotel had arranged a room upgrade and thoughtful touches I hadn’t even expected. It felt less like a booking and more like being welcomed into a private sanctuary. The breakfast was unreal: a perfectly cooked egg white omelette bursting with fresh, vibrant vegetables, beautifully presented. Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa
The resort overall was an excellent experience—beautiful setting, great location, and friendly staff. However, there were a few areas that could use improvement. Several restaurants only opened on a rotating basis, with just two available daily, so we couldn’t try all the dining options. That said, it’s disappointing for a property of this caliber. More concerning was the cleanliness issue near our room—guests from the adjacent unit kept ordering meals, and leftover food was left in the hallway for days. A fork remained on the stairs for four full days with no one picking it up. The poolside snack bar served burgers and light bites for one day but was completely closed for two others while we were at the pool. Instead of service, we found scattered food remnants where birds were feeding, and no staff appeared to clean up. Only late in the afternoon did someone show up to collect the trash—but they didn’t even wipe down the counters or clean the grills. These lapses are hard to overlook for a resort that markets itself as top-tier. Despite these shortcomings, the rest of the stay was fantastic. With tighter operational oversight, this place could easily be flawless.

Whether you're watching the sunrise over the Caribbean or enjoying a quiet evening stroll, every moment feels special. It’s not just a stay—it’s a true getaway. 10/10, without hesitation.

I also loved the on-site café; the coffee was rich and aromatic, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. This place truly stood out for its warmth, convenience, and attention to detail. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Tulum.
