Even if you prefer walking, it’s only a 30-minute stroll to the main attractions, which feels manageable. I’d definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh.

(Uber isn’t always dependable here, so their assistance was invaluable.) While breakfast isn’t included, they offer a kettle so you can brew your own tea or coffee anytime, plus fresh fruit and biscuits. It’s a thoughtful touch that makes your stay feel personal and comfortable. I left feeling refreshed, well taken care of, and already planning my next visit. We stayed at this five-bedroom, five-bathroom house for three nights and found it great for our large group. Since we were out most of the day, the unreliable Wi-Fi wasn’t a major issue—but when we were actually at home, the connection was frustratingly weak or completely dropped. The bathrooms were inconsistent too: some rooms had spacious ones, but the top-floor bedroom shared a tiny bathroom with barely any room to place toiletries—everything had to go on the floor. Also, the TVs were only portable-sized, which felt underwhelming for the price point. For a property like this, decent-sized TVs and reliable internet should be standard. Overall, the house was functional and spacious enough for a family or group, but the lack of proper amenities made the experience feel a bit disappointing given the cost.

Located just a short walk from the city center, we were surrounded by fantastic restaurants and lively bars. A wonderful park was only a 3-minute stroll away—perfect for a relaxing evening stroll.
