Staying at the Melia Lisboa Oriente Hotel was a great experience overall. The location is fantastic—just a 200-meter walk from Oriente Train Station, making it super convenient for both airport transfers and getting around Lisbon. Right across the street is a shopping mall with a supermarket, so grabbing snacks or essentials is a breeze. The room was modern and well-equipped; I booked a more budget-friendly option, so it didn’t have sea views—facing the train station instead—but still felt spacious and clean. Breakfast was easily one of the best I’ve had in mid-range European hotels recently—plenty of variety, fresh ingredients, and excellent quality. I noticed quite a few Chinese tourists and even several flight attendants staying here, which made me feel at home. A few small suggestions: the bathroom partition design isn’t ideal—water tends to splash all over during showers. Also, while the walls and glass have great soundproofing, the door itself doesn’t seal well, so hallway noise can be heard. Despite those minor points, this hotel offers outstanding value and convenience. Highly recommend for travelers looking for comfort and location without breaking the bank.

The staff here truly made our stay unforgettable—friendly, attentive, and always with a smile. From check-in to checkout, every interaction felt personal and genuine. The hotel is perfectly located just a short walk from the city center, making it easy to explore Lisbon’s charm on foot. Our room was clean, spacious, and had a cozy vibe that made us feel right at home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we slept so well we didn’t want to leave in the morning! With great value, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere, this place stands out among all the hotels we’ve stayed in. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon.

The room was absolutely fantastic—clean, stylish, and incredibly comfortable with a great bed that made for a restful night's sleep. The location couldn’t be better; just a short walk to Aflama, with plenty of local cafes, shops, and restaurants nearby. I loved how easy it was to explore the area on foot, and public transport access is seamless if you want to head further into Lisbon. What stood out most was the incredible value—this place feels much more upscale than its price suggests. I’ll definitely be back next time I visit Lisbon. Highly recommend this gem!

The room was excellent—clean, well-maintained, and comfortably furnished with everything we needed. The bed was particularly cozy, making for a restful night’s sleep. What really stood out was the location: just steps from the metro station, which made getting around Lisbon effortless. We were close to major attractions like the cathedral and the main bus tour stops, so we could easily plan our days without wasting time on transit. There were also plenty of local cafes and casual eateries nearby, perfect for grabbing a quick bite or coffee. Overall, this hotel offers fantastic value for money, especially for travelers who want convenience without breaking the bank. Our stay exceeded expectations, and I’d definitely book here again on future visits to Lisbon.

Staying at Hotel Roma in Lisbon was a real highlight of our trip. Even though it’s not a luxury hotel, its location and practicality make it perfect for solo travelers and families alike. The room was spacious and comfortable, with excellent air conditioning that kept things cool and pleasant. Daily housekeeping ensured the space remained fresh and clean throughout our stay. Breakfast was included—standard but satisfying. We had a good variety: hot options like scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, and beans, plus mushrooms on one morning. Bread selections, croissants, muffins, cheeses, yogurt, fruits, and cereals were all available. Having breakfast around 10 AM filled us up well, so we rarely felt the need to eat lunch out. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful—when we asked for an iron, they delivered it right away without any hassle. There was a small safe in the room for valuables, and ample storage space for clothes and luggage. The bathroom was a standout: plenty of counter space and even a clothesline across the tub—perfect for drying shirts or socks while traveling. The hotel sits across from a small soccer field, so we enjoyed watching local games from our balcony—a charming little touch. While the property is just 10 minutes from the airport, noise from planes was barely noticeable. One minor issue: two main elevators were out of service during our stay, but since we were on the second floor, taking the stairs wasn’t a problem—and other elevators were still working. For guests who prefer staying in, the hotel’s restaurant and bar offer a solid range of dishes. But if you’re up for exploring, just a short walk away there’s a fantastic Turkish restaurant with a 10-page menu—I highly recommend trying it.

We stayed at Upon Angels for four nights and absolutely loved every moment. The room was spacious, beautifully clean, and offered a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. We especially enjoyed the peaceful pool area—ideal for unwinding with a book or just soaking in the sun. Francisco, the staff member we interacted with, was incredibly friendly and helpful. His recommendations for local spots and the warm, genuine conversations made our stay feel personal and memorable. Thank you, Francisco, for making our experience so special—this place truly stands out! I’d definitely return.

Hotel Luena exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff were incredibly helpful and patient, especially when guiding us on parking—detailing the rules clearly, including the important reminder to move the car by 9 a.m. or risk a hefty fine. That kind of attention to detail shows how much they care about guest experience. Breakfast was a highlight—though not huge in variety, every item was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. I particularly loved the local specialties; it felt like a true taste of Lisbon. The hotel’s central location made exploring the city effortless, with public transit just steps away. Clean, comfortable, and wonderfully managed—this is a hidden gem. I’ll definitely be returning.

Staying at Modern Lisbon Apartments by SoulPlaces was a great experience overall. The apartment was well-equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable trip. While the immediate neighborhood felt a bit worn down, it didn’t impact our stay in any way—walking around at night felt safe and convenient. The location is ideal for exploring the city, and the space itself was clean, modern, and very welcoming. I’d definitely recommend it to others and would book again without hesitation.
