Staying at Meliá Lisboa Aeroporto was a great experience overall. The hotel's location is perfect—just a 10-minute walk from the airport, and while there’s a free shuttle service, the pickup point isn’t very easy to find, so walking turned out to be simpler and more convenient. The room is compact but spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was excellent—plenty of fresh bread, eggs, fruits, and drinks to choose from. One thing to note: like most European hotels, they don’t provide toothbrushes or slippers, so pack your own. Despite that small detail, the value for money is solid, and I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Lisbon.

We had an absolutely wonderful week-long stay in Lisbon this April, traveling with our three kids—aged 3, 5, and just 9 months old at the time. While the apartment is located on a steep hill (typical of much of Lisbon), it wasn’t too much of an issue since we were on the first floor, making it manageable even with a stroller. The space itself was perfect for our family of five—spacious, spotlessly clean, and incredibly well-equipped. We especially loved the private sun terrace, which became our favorite spot after long days of sightseeing. It was sunny, quiet, and just right for relaxing with the kids. The beds were comfortable, the dining table large enough for all of us, and the kitchen had everything we needed for simple meals. We enjoyed breakfast in the apartment and often had light evening dinners there, while eating lunch out—just the right balance for us. We brought a portable high chair for baby, but were also provided with a travel cot that fit snugly in the double room (though it would have been easier in the twin room—we preferred not to have all three kids sharing one room). Location-wise, it’s unbeatable—just a short walk from multiple tram lines, including the famous 28E, which made getting around super easy. We’d walk to nearby attractions and then take a quick, affordable taxi back. Overall, it was a stress-free, joyful family trip. The apartment exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommend—it was truly a highlight of our Lisbon adventure!

The hostel is located on a hill, but getting there is actually very convenient. Once you exit the Intendente Metro station, head to the Igreja Anjos bus stop across the street. Take bus 734 or 17B, or hop on tram 28 or 28E—just a short ride to the closest stop. The 17B bus even drops you right opposite Sant Jordi Hostels, so you’re just a quick walk away. Easy access, great location, and super convenient for exploring Lisbon. Definitely worth it!
