Stayed in a 6-person dorm — surprisingly spacious and comfortable, with clean beds and ample storage space underneath. The shared bathrooms were tidy, well-maintained, and felt very functional. Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. There’s plenty of room to prepare meals or enjoy a quiet breakfast, which was both varied and delicious. The hostel is located just steps away from a supermarket and pharmacy, and within walking distance of several nice spots for strolling around town. I’ve stayed here before the pandemic and would definitely come back. Great value, friendly vibe, and perfect for budget travelers who want comfort and convenience without the hassle.

Staying at Residence Metro-Alameda felt like being at home—warm, welcoming, and genuinely comfortable. The accommodation is simple but spotlessly clean, with well-maintained rooms and bathrooms that made a big difference. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from Alameda Metro Station, which made exploring Lisbon incredibly convenient. Right on the same street, there's a small Pingo Doce supermarket, plus several cozy cafes and restaurants, so everything you need is within reach. Despite having some local shops around, the neighborhood stays quiet and peaceful, perfect for a restful stay. And the host? Absolutely wonderful—kind, thoughtful, and super helpful (I’m sorry I forgot their name!). They patiently walked us through how everything worked and went above and beyond to make sure we felt at ease. I can’t recommend this place enough—I’d definitely come back without hesitation.

At first glance, the hotel seems a bit far from the city center (old town), but it’s actually super convenient once you’re there. The metro station is just 50 meters away—right outside the door—and the bus stop for route 708, which goes straight to the long-distance bus and train stations, is only 100 meters away. Perfect for travelers with luggage! The place is quiet, spotlessly clean, and the breakfast selection is impressive. That custard tart? Absolutely delicious—on par with the best ones I’ve had at local bakeries. What really stood out was our last morning: we had to check out by 6:30 AM to catch an early train, but breakfast didn’t start until 7:00 AM. We asked the front desk if they could prepare something in advance, and they said yes without hesitation. When we checked out, we grabbed two bags of pre-packed breakfast items from the fridge—such thoughtful service! It made our early departure so much smoother and left us with a lasting positive impression. Truly a hidden gem with exceptional hospitality.

Staying at Ameli Rooms was an absolute delight, especially since it was part of our honeymoon getaway. The host, Ameli, went above and beyond—when she found out about our special trip, she personally upgraded us to a room with a private bathroom and even created a romantic touch with pastel-colored rose petals and towel swans. The apartment is incredibly well-equipped: full kitchen setup with coffee maker, kettle, tea, coffee, and even a washing machine. Check-out time is at 12 PM, which gives plenty of flexibility. Hot water flows strong and consistently—no issues there. It's about a 20-minute walk to the city center, but the route is pleasant and scenic. Public transport is also easily accessible nearby. Everything you need for a comfortable, home-like stay is here. Highly recommend this gem for couples or travelers who value thoughtfulness, comfort, and convenience.
