That corner does attract a mix of people, so if you're walking around, keep valuables like phones, wallets, or purses out of sight—tuck them under your clothes. Also, avoid wearing flashy jewelry or expensive watches. The room itself was spacious, clean, and featured a small balcony perfect for relaxing. I was initially concerned about being on the first floor and possibly disturbed by street noise, but I was pleasantly surprised—the room was well soundproofed, and there was no disruption during the night. I slept well, though this might differ on weekends. The air conditioning worked quietly and effectively. The bathroom had minimal amenities for a hotel marketed as upscale—only a tiny water bottle provided, and no chocolates upon arrival, unlike some nearby options where guests get treats and larger bottles. The bar staff were arrogant and completely dismissive, taking ages to serve even simple drinks with no courtesy. Management seemed indifferent—no apology, no effort to resolve issues. It felt like the place had gone downhill fast. I can’t imagine returning or recommending it to anyone. This is not the Britannia Hotel I once knew. A real shame.
