19th Avenue on the Beach is an absolute gem for a classic Gold Coast seaside getaway. We've stayed here multiple times, and every visit has been fantastic. Dion and Nicky are incredibly welcoming and always responsive—true hosts who go the extra mile. The units vary in decor and view, so it's worth checking what you're booking; not all offer direct ocean access, but we’ve loved every one we’ve stayed in. All are fully self-contained with plenty of space and modern comforts. The property boasts a well-maintained pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna, and lush gardens—perfect for relaxing after a day on the beach. There’s some construction next door, but it’s minimal and only during daytime hours—barely noticeable compared to the soothing sound of waves crashing just beyond the garden. If you’re looking for a peaceful, authentic beachside stay with excellent service and a relaxed vibe, this place is highly recommended. A true standout in the area.

This lakeside retreat completely surpassed my expectations for a holiday home. The apartment is incredibly comfortable and thoughtfully equipped—from kitchen essentials to laundry facilities, a tumble dryer, Netflix, a hot tub, air conditioning, and even an indoor parking spot. I even saw guests relaxing in the outdoor spa on a chilly winter day—pure bliss. Located just steps from the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, you can enjoy a warm breakfast (even if you're not visiting the park), dining outdoors or under cover while sharing the space with free-roaming birds. Feeding the lorikeets is also open to the public before entering the sanctuary—such a fun, memorable touch. The stunning beach is only a 2-minute walk away, and there are plenty of great restaurants (both dine-in and drive-thru) plus shopping centers within a 15-minute drive. Best of all, it’s super close to the airport—so easy to head straight here after picking up your rental car. We’ll definitely be back for our next getaway.

The nearest bus stop is a 20-minute walk to Coolangatta Beach Pool—quite a long way for a casual visit. Plus, the furniture could use a thorough cleaning. Overall, it’s not the most convenient or relaxing stay, especially if you’re looking for comfort and quiet.
