The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, making check-in a breeze. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bathroom had no unpleasant odors, and the bedding was fresh and comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight—great variety with plenty of options to choose from. The only minor downside is that the twin room lacks natural light and feels a bit dim during the day, but honestly, it didn’t detract from the overall experience. For the price and convenience, this place offers excellent value. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Wuhan.

The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the bustling Jianghan Road Walking Street, with everything from local street food to shopping and attractions just steps away. I loved how easy it was to get around, especially using the nearby metro. The hotel itself is spotless, modern, and well-maintained, with a clean, welcoming vibe throughout. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—always smiling, ready to answer questions, and even gave me some great recommendations for nearby eats. Speaking of food, I highly recommend trying Xia’s Hot Pot, especially their Lu’s Shrimp—it’s rich, flavorful, and unforgettable. Don’t miss the Little House Braised Pork Wraps either—they’re crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and perfect as a snack or light meal. And if you’re looking for something refreshing, the Zhen Cha House drinks are a must-try; they’re smooth, aromatic, and just right after a long day of exploring. Stayed at TULIP LODJ (Wuhan Jianghan Road Wusheng Road Subway Station) and overall, the room felt decent with modern decor and well-maintained amenities. However, a few issues did affect my comfort during the night. The air conditioning had to be set to maximum heat and fan speed—otherwise, it would automatically switch to cooling mode in the middle of the night, dropping the temperature to around 14°C, which was quite chilly. At 7 AM, I got a sudden robot delivery alert when an order was mistakenly sent to my room. Also, the LED strip behind the bed in my upper-floor room wouldn’t turn off initially—it stayed on all night, making it hard to fall asleep. A technician came later to reset the circuit and fixed it. The elevator is quite small; when checking out, I waited over 15 minutes just to squeeze in, so eventually had to take my luggage down via the emergency staircase. Even though check-out is officially at 2 PM, staff arrived at 1:30 PM knocking on the door to confirm departure, then came back twice more between 1:30 and 2 PM—felt a bit rushed and possibly due to internal communication mix-up. Despite these hiccups, the hotel’s location near Jianghan Road Metro Station makes exploring the city super convenient. It’s still a solid choice if you’re looking for a budget-friendly, centrally located stay with good value.

One major plus: there’s on-site parking right at the entrance, which is super convenient for those driving. However, if you're arriving by car, don’t just type in the hotel name directly into your GPS—doing so will lead you down a narrow alleyway that’s tricky to navigate. Instead, aim for the hotel entrance from Zhangzhidong Avenue to avoid confusion. Also worth noting: not all rooms have river views. I booked a non-riverside room on my first day, but after upgrading and requesting a riverside view for my second night, the view was absolutely worth it. So definitely specify ‘riverside view’ when booking. Overall, the hotel delivers excellent value with its location, service, and comfort—highly recommend for travelers visiting Wuhan.
