Dinner at Yan Ting Chinese Restaurant was an unforgettable experience; the chef’s artistry shone through in every dish, beautifully presented and incredibly flavorful, with impeccable service throughout. The next evening, we dined at the West Dining Buffet, where everything from lobster to fresh crab and salmon was available on demand—plates emptied instantly, making it truly a feast of freedom for food lovers. The infinity pool on the 58th floor is spacious, well-maintained, and warm—perfect for soaking up the sun while kids splash around safely in the 1.2-meter depth. Even better? The changing rooms include a hot spring bath and steam room—ideal for unwinding after a long day. What really stood out was the 24/7 concierge service—prompt, thoughtful, and always there when needed. Special shoutout to our dedicated assistant Ashley, whose constant care, timely reminders, and genuine warmth made our stay feel personal and luxurious. Staying at InterContinental Qingdao was a delightful surprise! The fitness center has well-maintained equipment, and although I didn’t get a chance to swim due to time constraints, the pool looked clean and inviting. It’s just a 5-minute walk to Haixin Plaza, making shopping and dining super convenient. I especially want to thank the friendly front desk agent who checked me in (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name) and Jennifer at check-out for her exceptional attention to detail—she even helped extend my checkout time without hassle. The service, comfort, and location all exceeded expectations. This is definitely a hotel I’d recommend and return to.

Winnie Xiao Li, the guest relations officer, sent daily morning messages with helpful tips and reminders, always ready to assist via WeChat. Any concerns were addressed promptly and clearly, making everything feel effortless. They even noticed how important hydration is when traveling, so they delivered plenty of bottled water throughout our stay — no more dry mouth or discomfort. Since our train back was in the evening, they kindly extended our check-out time, giving us extra time to enjoy swimming and dining without rushing. When it came time to leave, our luggage was already packed and waiting, perfectly synced with our ride-hailing service — seamless and stress-free. The housekeeping staff, especially Yan Shuya, showed incredible attention to detail — she noticed I like using hand cream and left a small premium bottle just for me. That kind of personal touch really stood out. At the 7th-floor infinity pool, lifeguard Zhao Chunyang was not only professional and safety-conscious but also took great photos for us — friendly and reliable. The breakfast staff in the 1988 All-Day Dining restaurant were cheerful and efficient, moving quickly between tables during peak hours while keeping things clean and welcoming. Their double-sided table signs (showing 'occupied' and 'available') prevented any awkward moments when grabbing food. The fruit bar was constantly replenished by staff who monitored usage and freshened up the display on the spot — absolutely impressive. The hotel’s location is unbeatable: walking distance to Wusi Square, Olympic Sailing Center, and the famous Badaguan scenic area. A short taxi ride gets you to Qingdao Railway Station within 15 minutes. Around the hotel, there are tons of great local eateries — both in Hai Tian Mall and GT Plaza — all offering delicious food at reasonable prices. The rooms were spacious, bright, and beautifully laid out, with stunning sea and city views. American Egris bath amenities added a touch of luxury. The lobby is grand and modern, and the 7th-floor infinity pool offers breathtaking ocean vistas — perfect for relaxing while enjoying the view. Overall, this stay exceeded every expectation. Not only did the hotel earn my loyalty, but I’ll definitely recommend it to friends and family. If I ever return to Qingdao, there’s only one place I’ll consider: Qingdao Haitian Hotel.
