Absolutely recommend staying here! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond by upgrading our room without any extra charge. The balcony was a nice surprise, and the hairdryer? It’s a Dyson—such a thoughtful touch. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable—right in the heart of Madrid, just a short walk from everything. The hotel is literally across from an amazing yogurt ice cream spot (check out photos two and three!), and right next to a Michelin-starred restaurant—perfect for dinner after a long day exploring. Great value, great vibe, and such a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.

I had an unforgettable stay at Room Mate Macarena during a rare nationwide blackout in Spain. The entire city was dark, and many restaurants were closed, but the hotel staff went above and beyond to help. They were incredibly kind—assisting with luggage, helping me find food inside the hotel when outside options vanished, and even arranging early check-in without any hassle. They also booked my airport transfer in advance, so I woke up the next morning to a car already waiting at the door. Despite having no mobile signal throughout the day, the hotel’s Wi-Fi remained fully functional in rooms and hallways—clearly powered by their own generator system. Safety-wise, the large, friendly security guards stationed at the entrance made me feel completely secure even in the heart of Madrid’s bustling Gran Vía. This level of service, professionalism, and calm under pressure is truly exceptional. If I ever return to Madrid, I’ll definitely choose this hotel again.

This recently renovated hotel offers a clean, comfortable stay with a great location. Despite having 7 floors and somewhat old-fashioned elevators, they work perfectly fine and don’t hinder the experience at all. The real highlight is the unbeatable location—situated right between two metro stations (Gran Via and Sevilla), with a bus stop just outside the door. It’s only a 3-minute walk to Primark, and you can reach Plaza Mayor, along with the famous Bear and Strawberry Tree monument, in under 15 minutes on foot. Perfect for exploring Madrid’s city center without needing a car. Great value, excellent convenience, and a top choice for travelers who want both comfort and accessibility.
