I had a minor issue when booking the hotel, but when I arrived and checked in, the hotel manager personally stepped in to resolve everything—professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. I couldn’t be more grateful! The breakfast buffet was fantastic: wide variety of options, fresh ingredients, and great quality. There are plenty of dining choices nearby too—great for exploring local flavors. The room itself is spacious, well-designed, and offers beautiful views, especially at night when the city lights sparkle outside. It’s conveniently located, just a short walk from public transport links. Overall, an excellent stay with top-tier service and comfort. Definitely my go-to choice for future trips to Nagoya.

The hotel itself is immaculately clean, with rooms meticulously tidied every day. The first-floor Lounge Bar is stylish and inviting, often buzzing with guests enjoying afternoon tea or a casual drink. Everything about this stay felt thoughtfully designed and genuinely welcoming. The TV was big and clear, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Daily water refills were a thoughtful touch, though housekeeping came every three days. I appreciated that toiletries, mouthwash, and other essentials were available at the lobby—convenient and eco-friendly. From 3 to 7 PM, they served delicious pastries in the lobby—simple but satisfying. And the 24/7 coffee machine? A lifesaver for late-night travelers. Located near public transit, it’s easy to get around Nagoya. The vibe is modern yet welcoming, and the attention to small details really sets this hotel apart. For a city stay in Japan, this is one of the better options I’ve experienced—great value, great comfort, and a real home-away-from-home feel.

This place is perfect for solo travelers! The single room is surprisingly spacious—my 26-inch suitcase opened easily without feeling cramped. Right downstairs is a convenience store, so late-night snacks or essentials are just a quick step away. Walking to Sakae or Fushimi takes only about 10 minutes, and there’s even a nearby Ichiran Ramen shop—I couldn’t resist stopping by for a steaming bowl of their famous tonkotsu. The location is fantastic, the room is clean and quiet, and everything feels well thought out. For such a great price, the value is unbeatable. If you're visiting Nagoya alone, this hotel should be at the top of your list. Definitely coming back next time!

The Nagoya Kanayama Hotel is spotlessly clean and feels fresh throughout. I was pleasantly surprised to see a toilet seat manufactured by our parent factory back in 2015—it still works perfectly, which speaks volumes about the hotel’s excellent maintenance and attention to detail. While the location isn’t ideal for commuting to my current workplace (requiring transfers), it’s an excellent choice for travelers. The area is lively and bustling, with plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby. Great value, great vibe—definitely planning to stay here again on my next trip to Nagoya.
