Staying at Echeng Hotel was an absolutely excellent experience. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable—especially the bedding, which made for a restful night’s sleep. The location is unbeatable: right next to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street and just steps from the metro station, making shopping, dining, and exploring super convenient. The staff were warm, professional, and helpful—they checked us in quickly and even gave great recommendations for local eateries. Breakfast was diverse and delicious, with a nice mix of Western and Chinese options. Everything about this hotel screams value for money without compromising on quality or service. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Xiamen, and I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next trip.

Echarm Hotel

As a visitor from Taiwan, I was thrilled to return to Xiamen for my second visit, staying here for three nights during the summer holiday (I previously stayed in room R720). This time I was in room R627, and while the overall experience was still excellent, there was one small downside—the bathroom had a lingering urine smell that never fully dissipated. I’d recommend checking ventilation or cleaning protocols in that area. However, the breakfast was absolutely fantastic—freshly made noodles with a great taste and a wide variety of options. It felt like a real treat each morning. The hotel is also super convenient for exploring local eats: just a short bus ride away from Malong She Food Street, and even closer to Dianqian Qingshui Temple and Chaotian Temple, both located in vibrant urban villages packed with delicious street food. If I ever come back to Xiamen, I’ll definitely choose Echarm Hotel Torch Garden Station again—it’s well-located, comfortable, and offers great value. Highly recommended!

During New Year's period, the hotel was lively with plenty of family-friendly activities that kept the kids entertained. The guest manager, Xiao Luo, went above and beyond—she reached out before check-in to confirm details and checked in regularly during our stay to ensure everything was satisfactory. On checkout day, she even arranged a late departure without hassle, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room itself was spotless and comfortable, with soft bedding that made for a restful night’s sleep. The housekeeping staff were thorough and attentive, leaving no corner untouched. Every team member we interacted with showed genuine warmth and professionalism. From start to finish, the service felt personal and caring. Check-in was a bit stressful at first, but the on-duty manager handled everything with great empathy and professionalism. After a calm conversation, the issue was resolved smoothly—and they even surprised me with afternoon tea, evening entertainment, and a bottle of wine. The next day’s airport transfer was excellent too; driver Andy was friendly, courteous, and helped carry my luggage without being asked. We had a pleasant chat throughout the ride. A few suggestions for improvement: the afternoon tea selection was limited, and the fruit—especially the watermelon—wasn’t very fresh. Dinner options were also quite narrow. The room stayed chilly despite running the heater all night—temperature barely reached 15°C, so adding a heating option would be helpful. Also, breakfast was missing some items, and they weren’t replenished promptly. That said, the overall experience was still positive. The staff responded quickly to feedback, and the views from the room were stunning—especially sunrise in the morning. One small disappointment: no capsule or instant coffee available, which is common even in budget hotels. Adding that would make the stay much more convenient for guests who rely on coffee.

Breakfast was equally impressive, offering a wide variety of options from local favorites to international choices. The entire property felt quiet and well-maintained, creating a perfect retreat for relaxation.
