Parking was a major plus: free parking right outside the hotel from 6 PM to 8 AM, and then just £7.90 for a full day at Kelvinbridge Station, including a return metro ride. That’s an unbeatable deal. The attic room was spacious, incredibly comfortable, and featured a cozy bed that made for perfect sleep. High-speed Wi-Fi and a smart TV added great convenience, while the entire space was spotless, warm, and inviting. Upon arrival, we were greeted with fresh fruit, milk, yogurt, cheese, and water waiting in the room – such a thoughtful touch. We also appreciated the iron, ironing board, clean towels, kettle, and even a cafetiere for coffee. The view from the attic window was breathtaking – overlooking Glasgow Necropolis and Provand’s Lordship, the oldest house in Glasgow. The property is very self-sufficient: check-in is done online with a key code, and the owner’s mobile number is provided should you need any assistance. While the room is up a few flights of stairs (no elevator), it wasn’t an issue for us and actually added to the charming, boutique feel. We explored the area on foot – the stunning Glasgow Cathedral is literally across the street, and a five-minute walk takes you to a large supermarket and a classic fish & chips shop. There’s also a lovely Italian restaurant on the ground floor of the building – perfect for dinner. The highlight?
