We absolutely loved our stay at CityClass Hotel Alter Markt! The attic room was fantastic—spacious, spotlessly clean, and recently renovated with modern touches. The view of Cologne Cathedral from the window was breathtaking, making every morning a delight. The location is unbeatable, just steps away from the subway and downtown attractions. Everything about this hotel felt fresh and well thought out. We were so impressed that we’d definitely book here again if we ever return to Cologne. Highly recommended!

I appreciated the kettle in the room—it made my morning coffee so easy. Around the corner are fantastic restaurants on every side, and straight ahead is the lively little square full of charm. It’s also super close to a REWE supermarket for essentials, while the Museum of Roman and Germanic Antiquities and the art gallery are just steps away. Whether you're here for culture, food, or convenience, this place hits all the right notes. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Cologne!
