The rooms were immaculately clean—really, truly spotless—and the beds were so comfortable we slept like babies. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just steps from the subway, making exploring Cologne effortless. If I had to find a tiny flaw, it’s the shower setup—the folding glass door over the tub feels a bit precarious when stepping in and out, especially if you’re not used to European designs. But honestly, that’s a minuscule downside in an otherwise flawless experience. This hotel checked every box and then some. I’d book it again in a heartbeat without even browsing another property.

Breakfast was outstanding: a wide selection of muesli, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, bread, juice, and even a complimentary plate of cold cuts and cheese brought directly to our table. Security was solid, with a dedicated key for the front door, which gave us peace of mind. While there’s a small bar on-site, we preferred dining nearby—there were several great restaurants just steps away, offering convenient and tasty dinner options. Overall, this hotel delivers comfort, convenience, and excellent value. We’d definitely stay here again.

The bathroom is a real highlight: you can enjoy your shower while gazing out at the river, though privacy is easily maintained with the built-in blinds. Overall, this place offers incredible value, comfort, and scenery. If you're looking for a peaceful yet central stay in Cologne with a touch of local charm, this is it—highly recommended.

Staying at this hotel was a great way to explore Cologne. The price was fair, the location was excellent—just steps from trams and buses—and the staff provided very friendly service. One thing to note: there’s no air conditioning in the rooms, but it didn’t affect our comfort at all. If you prefer sleeping with the window open, ask for a room facing the back side of the building, as the front-facing ones can be noisy due to street traffic. Cologne is a big city with over a million residents, so things are lively even on Sundays! Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would definitely recommend it.
