I absolutely loved this hotel! While the area is quiet, the location is incredibly convenient—most attractions and shopping centers are just a short walk away. The bed was super comfortable, and the lounge on the 7th floor with the coffee bar made for a perfect spot to unwind after a long day. My only regret was booking early with a non-refundable rate, as I later noticed lower prices on other platforms and even saw a price drop on the platform I used. Still, those three nights were worth it—the overall experience was excellent, and the value for money remains strong. If you're looking for a peaceful yet well-connected stay in Yokohama, this is a great choice.

It’s such a peaceful and romantic spot to unwind after a day exploring the city. The shared bathhouse is another highlight, offering various types of hot springs that made me feel completely relaxed and refreshed. Even though it’s not right in the heart of downtown, it’s easily accessible via public transit—just a short subway ride away. With its unique charm, great atmosphere, and incredible value for money, this place deserves every bit of the 10/10 rating. I’ll definitely be back.

Right downstairs is a 7-Eleven, and just steps away is a family-friendly restaurant chain—perfect for late-night snacks or casual meals. I booked a twin room, and was pleasantly surprised by how spacious it felt. Even better: they actually provided a hair curler in the room! Small touches like this make all the difference. If you're visiting Yokohama, especially for Chinatown, this is an ideal choice—great location, comfortable stay, and excellent value.

I especially loved the grab-and-go breakfast rolls—they were perfect for a quick bite before heading out. Everything felt thoughtfully designed, from the spacious rooms to the attentive service. Coming out of the JR station's West Exit, head right and you'll spot an elevator right away—take it up to the second floor where the skywalk connects. Follow the row of greenery ahead, and you'll notice the two-stage escalator system. But don’t go through the left-side entrance—it’s just the first access point. For those with luggage, the easiest way is to pass by the escalator, keep going, and turn left at the third entrance. There you’ll find the hotel’s dedicated elevator leading directly to the 4th-floor check-in area. The whole route is well-designed and super intuitive, even with heavy bags. Smooth, efficient, and stress-free—exactly what a great stay should feel like.

Staying at Rose Hotel Yokohama was an absolute delight! The location is unbeatable—just a 10-minute walk from the subway station and right in the heart of Yokohama Chinatown. That means endless dining options, with authentic flavors just steps away. As a well-established five-star hotel, it delivers on every front: elegant decor, top-tier amenities, and staff who are friendly, attentive, and even offer Chinese language support—huge plus for Mandarin speakers. The room itself felt spacious by Japanese standards, offering plenty of comfort and space to unwind. Best of all, it’s only a 5-minute stroll to the waterfront and the iconic Yamashita Park—perfect for a relaxing evening walk or catching the sunset. With its convenient location, high-quality service, and great value, I’ll definitely be coming back here on my next trip to Yokohama. Truly one of the best stays in the city.

I was really looking forward to staying in a high-floor sea-facing room since the hotel advertised 'guaranteed sea view from a high floor,' but I ended up on the 12th floor out of 20. While it wasn't as high as I expected, it still offered a pleasant view of the port and city lights, especially at night. The room itself was clean, well-maintained, and had good natural light. What stood out was the convenient location—just a short walk to the subway station, making it easy to explore central Yokohama and beyond. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall, the experience was solid. Though the floor level didn’t fully match the promise, the value for money and the location made up for it. I’d definitely consider booking again if I’m back in Yokohama.
Yokohama Tokyu REI Hotel
The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. I used my Hakone Pass to ride the Odakyu Line for free to Tama Station, then transferred to the JH and TY lines with my Suica card, getting off at Shin-Takashima Station—just a short walk across the street to the hotel. It's in the same building as KT, so it’s super easy to find. Check-in was on the 9th floor, and while the room isn’t huge, it’s a smart rectangular layout—there’s enough space to place your luggage near the door and a small desk by the window. After settling in, I took a quick stroll to Yokohama Station (about 10–15 minutes) for some ramen and a little shopping at the drugstore. Honestly, I didn’t expect the station to be so lively at night—it’s full of energy and great vibes. The next morning, breakfast was outstanding—especially the seafood rice, which was a real highlight. Then I headed to Kamakura and the Enoshima Island area, and on the way back, I stopped at Ishikawa-machi after getting off at Kamakura High School Station. Tried the Ichisai Wagyu—delicious! Even though it started raining, exploring Chinatown felt even more atmospheric. On day three, the weather was perfect, so I walked just 10 minutes to the Yokohama Landmark Tower and Minato Mirai 21 area—great photo spots and such a fun urban vibe. I returned right at 8:45 a.m., just in time for breakfast before checking out at 10:00. The elevator queues were busy during check-out, so plan ahead. The front desk offers self-service skincare items—very convenient. The only minor downside? No complimentary bottled water, but everything else was top-notch. Overall, excellent value, fantastic location, and a very comfortable stay.

What truly impressed me was an incident on check-out day: I realized I’d left behind two scarves just 10 steps away from the hotel. I immediately returned, and the front desk staff responded quickly, handing me my room key without hesitation. When I reached my floor, I noticed the hallway was filled with cleaning carts, and my door was already open. I rushed inside to search, but couldn’t find them. Later that evening in Tokyo, I called back to follow up. The staff member confirmed there was no trace of the lost items, but her kindness made all the difference. First, I was disconnected due to language barriers—but I tried again using my phone’s translation app. Though her English was limited, she listened patiently, apologized repeatedly, and clearly tried her best to help. Her effort, warmth, and professionalism touched me deeply. Even though I didn’t recover the scarves, this experience only strengthened my respect for the team.
