Forma Hostel
The Forma Hostel is perfectly located—just a short walk from the metro and surrounded by convenient amenities. The space is stylish, clean, and warmly welcoming, with no unpleasant odors that often plague shared accommodations. You can tell many guests stay here for months on end, which gives the place a lived-in, authentic vibe—something I actually appreciate. However, the loft-style beds are a bit of a downside: any movement sends the whole frame shaking, which inevitably disturbs everyone in the room, especially your bunkmate. It’s not ideal for light sleepers. Still, considering the location, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere, this is a solid choice for travelers looking for a budget-friendly, well-located base in Moscow.
Izumrud Yug Hotel
The stay at Izumrud Yug Hotel was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, everything felt seamless and welcoming. The location is excellent—just a short metro ride from the city center, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and cafes nearby. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-appointed, with a super comfortable bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. Staff were friendly, helpful, and went the extra mile to ensure our comfort—especially appreciated when they assisted with luggage. Breakfast was a highlight: a great variety of both Western and local options, all fresh and delicious. The overall experience was top-notch, and the value for money is unbeatable. I’d definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Moscow.
Akademik Mini-Hotel
I absolutely loved my stay at Akademik Mini-Hotel! The cleanliness, service, and convenient location were all top-notch. What stood out the most was how quiet and peaceful the neighborhood was—no noise from neighbors, which made for a truly relaxing experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile. Being just a short walk from the metro made exploring Moscow super easy. It’s a perfect spot for travelers who want comfort, tranquility, and great value—all in one. I’ll definitely be returning next time I visit Moscow!
Hostel on Frunzenskaya
The hostel is pretty average, and the surrounding area isn’t great either. It’s a bit off the beaten path, which was a bit of a surprise since I booked it mainly because of its proximity to the Moscow Marathon start line. In hindsight, staying a little further out and taking the metro would’ve been more convenient. The location wasn’t as accessible as I expected, and while the price was reasonable, the overall experience didn’t justify the convenience factor. Not a bad option if you’re on a tight budget, but I wouldn’t recommend it over better-connected alternatives.
Len Inn Lux Hostel
We booked our room just a couple of days in advance over the phone, and everything seemed fine. But when we arrived from a distant city, we were shocked to find out that our room had already been given to another guest—no warning, no apology. The staff simply said, 'Management told us to do it,' then walked away without even acknowledging our stunned faces. When we asked why they didn’t call ahead, their excuse was, 'We didn’t know your phone number'—yet they collected our full name during booking. What if we’d arrived late at night? Where would we have gone? This kind of treatment is unacceptable. No communication, no respect, and zero transparency. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Definitely look elsewhere for a hostel—you’ll regret staying here.

The Laluna Hotel is small but incredibly comfortable. We stayed just one night, and honestly, we slept like babies—woke up completely refreshed. The location is also super convenient, just a short metro ride from major attractions. It’s a hidden gem with fantastic value, and I’d definitely come back. Yunost Hotel
I really enjoyed my stay at Yunost Hotel! The room was clean, well-organized, and had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. It's conveniently located near the metro, making it easy to explore Moscow. There were some ongoing renovations during my visit, but they didn't disrupt the experience much—everything remained comfortable and pleasant. I can already tell that once the renovation is fully completed, this place will be even better. Great value for the price, and I’d definitely come back or recommend it to friends.

The room was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable, making it perfect for a restful stay. If you're attending an event or exhibition, it's only two stops away on the metro, which is a huge plus. The only minor issue was that when I inquired about the standard room price through the platform, I was told it was for one person, but upon arrival, I found it was a twin-bed room. That meant I ended up booking an extra room unnecessarily. Still, the overall experience was excellent—great location, clean rooms, and peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommend this place if you're visiting Moscow for business or events.
