Everything you need—restaurants, shopping, convenience stores—is literally around the corner. The front desk staff were warm, professional, and efficient; even though we arrived early, they went the extra mile to secure us a room promptly. The bellhop and housekeeping team were friendly and attentive throughout our stay, making us feel truly welcome. Our room was larger than expected, with a sleek modern minimalist design, spotless cleanliness, and incredibly comfortable bedding—perfect for a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom features a well-designed wet/dry separation, and the water pressure and temperature were consistently excellent. Bonus points for the complimentary minibar and fast, reliable Wi-Fi. Breakfast was a highlight—diverse options blending Chinese and Western favorites, all freshly prepared and delicious. We also made use of the rooftop pool and fitness center, which offer stunning city views and a serene atmosphere. My stay at Hilton Guangzhou Baiyun was truly exceptional, especially the Executive Lounge experience. The light snacks and beverages were outstanding—far beyond my expectations and definitely among the top tier of five-star hotels in Guangzhou. The pool area is fantastic: clean water, well-maintained, and perfect for a refreshing swim—ideal for someone who enjoys swimming. Breakfast leaned slightly toward Western style, but the quality of ingredients and presentation were excellent. Staff were courteous and warm throughout the morning, and I appreciated the complimentary member treats—like the pork siu mai pastry, which was deliciously flaky and flavorful. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated. This was a memorable stay, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly. A solid five-star experience from start to finish.

I was especially impressed by the soundproofing; it was so quiet at night that I barely heard any outside noise, which helped me sleep deeply. Breakfast was fantastic—plenty of fresh bread, pastries, fruits, and drinks to choose from, all tasty and well-prepared. Plus, the location is unbeatable: just a short walk to Guangzhou Railway Station and surrounded by shopping areas and local attractions. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this place offers excellent value and convenience. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to Guangzhou.
Pazhou Hotel (Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center Modiesha Metro Station)
I booked this hotel last-minute for a business trip mainly because of the affordable rate, and honestly, I was expecting something basic or underwhelming. But it completely exceeded my expectations! The bed is just the right firmness—not too soft that you sink into it, not too hard either. It’s perfectly balanced, and the pillows are great too—neither too fluffy nor too high, providing excellent support. To be honest, I slept better here than in some so-called five-star hotels I’ve stayed at before. The room has a slightly vintage decor style, which gives it a unique charm rather than feeling outdated. Located just steps from Modiesha Metro Station, it’s super convenient to get to Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and overall, the value for money is outstanding. I’ll definitely come back if I’m ever in Guangzhou again.

While not huge, the space felt efficient and comfortable for a city stay. The breakfast, prepared by a chef from Sichuan, was surprisingly delicious and authentic—definitely a highlight. I also appreciated being able to store my luggage after check-out, which made my travel plans much more flexible. Free tea and coffee at the front desk are a thoughtful touch, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s a fantastic choice for travelers visiting the Pazhou Exhibition Center area. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m back in Guangzhou.
