Staying at IFC Residence in Shanghai was an absolute delight from start to finish. I booked a one-bedroom suite with about 95 sqm of living space—while it might not feel that large on paper, the layout is incredibly smart and makes the most of every inch. Everything you'd need for a comfortable stay is here: dishwasher, washing machine with dryer function, microwave, induction cooktop, and even full kitchenware—no need to worry about packing anything extra. The third-floor lounge area is perfect for relaxing with a coffee, and the outdoor terrace offers stunning views of the Oriental Pearl Tower and surrounding skyscrapers—especially magical at night. Staff are friendly, professional, and always ready to help. My only regret? Forgetting my swimsuit—I heard the pool and gym are top-notch, so I’ll definitely come back just for that. Right below the property is IFC Mall, with supermarkets, dining options, and everything you could want within walking distance. The only downside is no on-site parking—private vehicle guests pay up to ¥128 per day, but considering how central the location is, it’s still totally worth it. Overall, this place delivers luxury, convenience, and comfort in one seamless package.

The hotel itself is clean, modern, and well-maintained, with friendly staff and excellent service. Even though the price isn’t cheap, the overall experience absolutely justifies it. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to Shanghai.

Special thanks to Lorna from the guest relations team—amazingly patient and professional despite the massive crowds on such a busy holiday. She handled all my concerns with care and efficiency. The service quality is truly consistent with Hyatt’s world-class standards: warm, attentive, and thoughtful. Even with high demand at The Club Lounge, staff still offered gracious, low-bow service to members—such a nice touch. The welcome fruit and breakfast were both delicious and well-prepared. And the view? Absolutely breathtaking. The Bund skyline is stunning day or night—definitely worth every moment spent by the window. I’ve already taken countless photos and can’t wait to come back. This hotel delivers on all fronts—perfect for travelers seeking luxury, comfort, and unforgettable scenery.

My room’s bathroom had clearly been recently renovated, featuring a smart toilet with bidet functions and a showerhead with strong water pressure—perfect for unwinding after a long day. The service exceeded expectations from the very beginning: as I arrived at Dianchi Road, a staff member was already waiting by the door. After confirming I was a guest, he immediately took my luggage and carried it inside, guiding me through check-in with a friendly smile. Despite arriving during peak check-in time around 3 PM, there was no chaos or long lines—everything was smooth and efficient. Even more impressive? My bags never touched my hands again—they were taken straight up in the elevator to my room. That’s what true luxury service looks like. Special shoutout to Guest Experience Manager Billy Liang, who went above and beyond when he learned about my parents’ anniversary visit. He personally delivered a birthday cake, arranged a reservation at the rooftop Longfeng Hall, and even made sure they enjoyed live classic jazz music at the hotel bar. He even snapped a sweet photo for them to cherish. My parents were truly touched and said it was one of the most memorable trips of their lives. This hotel isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a destination worth visiting for family gatherings, special occasions, or simply experiencing timeless elegance. The river view room was the highlight—overlooking the Huangpu River, my baby would sit by the window every morning sipping milk, mesmerized by the scenery. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, though the toilet seat is slightly higher than average—probably due to a heated cover installed later, but not a big issue.
