Upon checkout, we received a thoughtful gift set, but there was one thing that concerned me: the hand cream looked exactly like jelly and was stored right next to the snacks. I accidentally inhaled a little of it while on the taxi ride back—seriously freaked out! Thankfully, after checking online, it seemed harmless, and I felt fine by the end of the day. But if a child had eaten it by mistake, that could be dangerous. Definitely recommend switching to a tube-style hand cream instead of the jelly-like packaging for safety reasons. Despite that small issue, the overall experience was outstanding—great location, excellent service, and amazing value. I’ll definitely be coming back.

The area is also great—just a short walk from Qin Shi Intangible Cultural Heritage Pavilion, where I tried their fish head and braised pork—both absolutely delicious. I especially want to highlight housekeeper Miss Wang Nannan—she’s warm, efficient, and made every corner of our room sparkle. But the real surprise? The view from the window. With no high-rises blocking the skyline, the open view of low-rise buildings filled the room with natural light during the day, creating a bright, uplifting atmosphere. It truly lifted our mood from the moment we woke up. For the price and location, this is one of the best value stays we’ve had in Shanghai.
