I’d been wanting to stay at Shangri-La Far Eastern Taipei for a while, mainly because my travel group consisted of three people who all wanted individual beds and a single room. I was a bit hesitant at first since most of the online reviews were from 2017–2018, but once I arrived, I completely changed my mind—this hotel exceeded all expectations. The ambiance is incredibly luxurious, and the overall quality is top-notch. The room was much bigger than the photos suggested, offering plenty of space and a really comfortable feel. From the moment we walked in, the bell staff and front desk team were welcoming and professional—every interaction was pleasant. The signature fragrance and premium toiletries added that extra touch of sophistication. Initially, I was disappointed to learn that none of the four-room options had views of Taipei 101 (which was part of our original shortlist), but after seeing the room in person, I didn’t care about the view at all—the condition, cleanliness, and comfort were just too good. During our 3-night stay, we only encountered one other Korean guest (in the elevator!), and the breakfast area and pool were mostly filled with European travelers, giving it a very international vibe. What stood out the most was how the hotel proactively sent us a confirmation email after booking to confirm our schedule—something many 5-star hotels don’t do. It made planning so much easier and gave me peace of mind. Overall, this trip was enjoyable and stress-free thanks to the excellent service. Also, the air conditioning in the room runs very cold—definitely turned it down a bit and used extra blankets, which thankfully were provided. Overall, this is a great value for the location and quality. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m back in Taipei.

While there isn’t a dedicated kids’ playroom, the location more than makes up for it: just steps away from Hua Shan Exhibition Hall, and right next to a huge park perfect for little ones to run around. We arrived early and enjoyed complimentary snacks and a drink upon check-in—such a nice touch to start the day. This place strikes the perfect balance between urban convenience and relaxed, family-friendly vibes. A true gem in Taipei for travelers seeking comfort, creativity, and a little bit of local flair.

We had an amazing stay at Welove meworld Inn! The service was outstanding — the front desk team was incredibly helpful and friendly, and they cleaned our room quickly and efficiently upon request before 10 a.m. The front desk is easy to spot on the ground floor, right next to the main entrance and elevators, making check-in and check-out seamless. Our room was spotless and well-equipped with everything we needed: slippers, shampoo, shower gel, and even a mini-fridge. The bathroom was compact, but that’s completely expected for a budget hotel in this price range. Just a quick note — smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the property. The location is unbeatable for convenience. There’s street food right downstairs, perfect for late-night cravings. Within walking distance, you’ll find Family Mart, OK Mart, 7-Eleven, and Starbucks — all super handy for snacks and essentials. A short stroll leads you straight to Ximen Station and the vibrant Ximending Night Market, which even has a POP MART store for collectors! Getting to and from the airport is simple — just hop on bus number 1961, which stops near Ximen Crossing. Overall, this is a fantastic budget-friendly gem that delivers excellent value.
