Grand Hyatt Changsha
Staying at Grand Hyatt Changsha was an absolute delight from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—everything we wanted to see was either a short subway ride away or just a quick walk. We easily reached Yuelu Mountain and Orange Isle by metro, while Du Fu's Pavilion was literally across the street. It only took about 20 minutes to get to East Square, making it perfect for exploring the city without hassle. Around the hotel, there’s no shortage of great food and shopping—two convenient Haidilao locations within walking distance, and even Cha Yan Yue Se was just steps away. The hotel itself is beautifully designed with a calm, elegant atmosphere. Every staff member we met was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. Special thanks to Tina Yu Ting from the Guest Services Lounge who made our check-in experience so smooth—she was especially attentive to our elderly family members and our kids, even gifting them little welcome treats. Our riverside room offered stunning views, and the natural light flooded in during the day, making every moment feel special. There’s also a unique collaboration store with the Provincial Museum—my kids loved browsing through the themed souvenirs, which were reasonably priced and perfect as gifts. The pool temperature was ideal for children, and they had a blast playing around. Breakfast was fantastic too—diverse options that catered to all tastes, with a strong focus on healthy eating. Unfortunately, due to our packed itinerary, we didn’t get to try the hotel’s dining venues beyond a lovely afternoon tea and a satisfying evening buffet. Still, the overall experience was outstanding. If we ever return to Changsha, this will be our first choice again.

I was genuinely surprised by how great Park Hyatt Changsha turned out to be. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, friendly service—always smiling, greeting guests with genuine hospitality, and making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The breakfast spread was impressive, with a wide variety of options and good quality across the board. I was pleasantly upgraded to a higher room category and even received a late check-out until 2 PM—such a nice touch! The only minor downside was that the room felt a bit stuffy and warm, possibly due to the air conditioning being set too high. Also, no spa or wellness center on-site, which would’ve been a great addition. But overall, this is an exceptional stay with outstanding service and value. I’d definitely return and recommend it to others.

The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful—he personally guided us to sort out our missing key card and even allowed us to store our luggage for nearly eight hours after check-out at no extra charge. That kind of thoughtful service really sets this place apart. Highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone visiting Changsha—it’s not just a place to sleep, it’s an experience.

Staying at 24 Bridge Art B&B in Changsha was one of the highlights of my trip. The location is perfect—just a short walk from IFS, with easy access to public transit and all the city’s hotspots. While there are some buildings blocking the full panorama, the overall scenery still feels open and pleasant, especially during daylight hours. The breakfast buffet was generous and well-stocked—everything you could want was available, and it felt truly free-flowing and satisfying. Located just steps from Liugouyu Metro Station, getting around downtown Changsha is super convenient. I’d definitely recommend this place to friends and will be back myself soon. A top-tier experience from start to finish.

The neighborhood is vibrant and central, with Hunan First Normal University just across the street. Despite its compact size, the hotel feels modern and well-designed, with full smart room controls and excellent central air conditioning that maintains a perfect temperature throughout the night. What really stood out was the nightly complimentary late-night snack—warm drinks or light bites that made the stay feel extra cozy. The staff were attentive and friendly, always ready to help. Dining options are plentiful nearby, especially the little noodle shop right outside—the local-style rice noodles are affordable and delicious. Public transport is seamless, with both subway and bus stops right at the doorstep. It’s not a huge property, but every detail feels thoughtfully curated.
