Staying at the City Suites Main Station was such a great upgrade from my previous branch visit—this location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the train station and right in the heart of Taipei. When I arrived for check-in, the front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful—they let me go straight to my room to sort out my bags and patiently waited while I changed into something more suitable for Taipei’s weather. Last time I didn’t book the Fuhang Soy Milk breakfast, but this time I gave it a try. It was still tasty, though maybe not quite as magical as I remembered—perhaps nostalgia played a trick on me! After staying in Chinese hotels with robot room service, I assumed that just answering the phone would trigger breakfast delivery. Turns out, you actually need to say a few words—lesson learned! One small note: the bathtub was quite slippery, and I ended up taking a fall. Definitely hope they can add some anti-slip measures soon. Overall, though, an excellent stay with great convenience and warm hospitality.

Breakfast offered a great variety: baozi, rice balls, lu rou fan, sushi, and fresh fruit—all tasty and satisfying. One small wish: extending check-out time by a couple of hours would have made the stay even better. Overall, this is a solid choice for travelers who value location, convenience, and good value. I’d definitely come back.
