Located right near lots of great dining options, there’s also a convenient supermarket just downstairs. We were given a family-friendly room with one queen bed and one single bed—the only hotel on our entire trip to offer such a setup, which made things so much easier for us with kids. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. By the last day, I really regretted not booking this hotel directly instead of the neighboring chain hotel we ended up with—it was more expensive and nowhere near as good. If you’re visiting Urumqi, make sure to give this one a try. It truly stands out.
