However, a few issues did affect my comfort during the night. The air conditioning had to be set to maximum heat and fan speed—otherwise, it would automatically switch to cooling mode in the middle of the night, dropping the temperature to around 14°C, which was quite chilly. At 7 AM, I got a sudden robot delivery alert when an order was mistakenly sent to my room. Also, the LED strip behind the bed in my upper-floor room wouldn’t turn off initially—it stayed on all night, making it hard to fall asleep. A technician came later to reset the circuit and fixed it. The elevator is quite small; when checking out, I waited over 15 minutes just to squeeze in, so eventually had to take my luggage down via the emergency staircase. Even though check-out is officially at 2 PM, staff arrived at 1:30 PM knocking on the door to confirm departure, then came back twice more between 1:30 and 2 PM—felt a bit rushed and possibly due to internal communication mix-up. Despite these hiccups, the hotel’s location near Jianghan Road Metro Station makes exploring the city super convenient. It’s still a solid choice if you’re looking for a budget-friendly, centrally located stay with good value.

However, if you're arriving by car, don’t just type in the hotel name directly into your GPS—doing so will lead you down a narrow alleyway that’s tricky to navigate. Instead, aim for the hotel entrance from Zhangzhidong Avenue to avoid confusion. Also worth noting: not all rooms have river views. I booked a non-riverside room on my first day, but after upgrading and requesting a riverside view for my second night, the view was absolutely worth it.
