Apartment Kapok
This was my first stay at Apartment Kapok in Hong Kong, and overall it was a great experience. Getting from the airport to Exhibition Centre MTR station was smooth and straightforward—just hop on the train and you're there. The navigation was a bit tricky at first; I thought I had to find a main entrance, but the actual access is through a small door next to Bank of China in Building A of Wanjing Centre. Just exit at Exit B3 of Exhibition Centre Station, cross two streets, and you’re right there. The location couldn’t be more convenient—especially since I needed to renew my child’s documents, and it’s only a 5-minute walk to the Consulate General building in China Resources Tower. That made everything so stress-free. The room was spacious and well laid out, offering plenty of room for comfort. Staff were friendly and helpful when needed—nothing overly enthusiastic, but definitely responsive and professional. We stayed on the 7th floor, which didn’t have sea views, but the street-level view was perfectly fine. There are plenty of dining options nearby, though if you’re craving authentic local snacks, you’ll need to cross a skybridge and walk a bit further. On the bright side, there’s a supermarket right downstairs—perfect for grabbing fresh fruit, milk, or even quick breakfasts and lunches. The only downside? Poor sound insulation. I could hear every door slam from the neighboring unit—it was loud enough to make me wince. But considering the excellent location, clean rooms, and overall value, I’d definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Hong Kong.

You're surrounded by amazing street food, local markets, convenience stores, and easy access to shopping areas like Mong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui. Public transport is super convenient, whether you're heading to the airport or exploring Hong Kong Island. For such a great location and quality, the value for money is outstanding. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Hong Kong on a budget—authentic, safe, and full of character.

Plus, the shared kitchen is a game-changer if you’re looking to cook your own meals. It’s clean, well-equipped, and perfect for saving money while enjoying home-cooked comfort. However, what makes this place stand out is its unbeatable location. Right next to Nathan Road, it’s just a short walk from Jordan MTR Station, making travel around Hong Kong super convenient. The area is packed with restaurants, shops, and street food options—perfect for exploring local life. While there’s no gym or on-site dining, the space feels more like a home away from home, ideal for longer stays or travelers who value privacy and convenience over hotel-style services. It’s not about luxury extras—it’s about smart, practical living in one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods. For the price and location, the value is excellent, and I’d definitely come back.

While there are a few funeral parlours nearby, they don’t affect the overall vibe at all; the area remains quiet and peaceful. I had zero noise issues during my stay, which was a big plus. The apartment-style rooms offer good space and comfort, and the building requires keycard access at the entrance—great for security. Staff at the front desk are young, friendly, and helpful. There’s a small but handy selection of local eateries nearby, including a classic ice cream parlor and a couple of noodle shops. What really stands out is the incredible value for money—well-designed, clean, safe, and reasonably priced. If you're looking for a comfortable, hassle-free base in Hong Kong, this place is a solid choice.

I absolutely loved my stay at Ibis Hong Kong North Point—this place exceeded all my expectations. This was my second stay at this hotel, and I’m just as impressed as the first time. Check-in was incredibly smooth and fast—no long queues, no deposit required, which made everything hassle-free. The room was spotless and well-equipped with essentials like slippers, towels, hairdryer, kettle, and tissues. Free Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout my stay. Hot water for the shower came on instantly—no waiting—and the drainage system handled water quickly without any clogging issues. The bed was super comfortable, and the bedding felt soft and skin-friendly. For the price point, the value-for-money is outstanding. Even check-out was a breeze—quick, efficient, and friendly staff. Staying at The OTTO Hotel was an absolute delight! Just a 42-minute subway ride from the airport, with a quick walk from Exit B2—super convenient. Right across the street is a cozy tea house where you can grab a bite or enjoy a drink without going far. It’s only a 5-minute stroll to Victoria Harbour and Star Ferry, and about 8 minutes to Harbour City—perfect for shopping and sightseeing. I even made it to Disneyland with ease, thanks to the excellent location. Everything was so well-connected and hassle-free. This hotel offers incredible value and comfort—10/10, would book again in a heartbeat!
