Grand Hyatt Hong Kong

Spent Christmas Eve at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong and it was absolutely magical. The lobby and second-floor atrium were beautifully decorated with tall Christmas trees, creating a festive atmosphere the moment you walk in. The room was clean, well-maintained, and offered a lovely view of the giant Ferris wheel and glimpses of the sea—especially stunning at night when the city lights shimmered across the water. Service was exceptional from start to finish. I arrived earlier than check-in time, and they happily accommodated me with early check-in without any hassle. Staff even helped carry my luggage up to the room and assisted again at checkout by bringing my bags down to the side entrance. It’s rare to find such thoughtful, personalized service in a luxury hotel, and it truly made the stay unforgettable. If you're looking for a memorable holiday experience in Hong Kong, this is the place.

The Peninsula Hong Kong

The Peninsula has this magical way of turning 'liking' into a habit. From the first golden ray of morning light streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows, to unwinding in the bathtub at night after a long day — every moment feels intentional and luxurious. The classic English afternoon tea on the tiered stand is a true delight, with delicate pastries and perfectly brewed tea. And through experiences like the Peninsula Academy, you get a genuine sense of Hong Kong’s soul, blending East and West seamlessly. It’s not just about comfort or style — it’s about living well, thoughtfully, and gracefully. The attention to detail, the impeccable service, and the timeless elegance make every stay feel unforgettable. This isn’t just a hotel; it’s an experience that stays with you long after check-out.

We arrived early and had to wait until 3 PM for check-in, but the front desk staff were incredibly helpful—they gladly stored our luggage. We checked in around 8:30 PM, and the room was spotless and well-maintained. Since we were traveling with our child, we opted for a one-time use bed set for added peace of mind regarding hygiene. The HKD 500 deposit was paid in cash and refunded immediately upon checkout the next day—no hassle at all. The whole experience was smooth and professional. Location is convenient, staff are friendly, and the overall value is excellent. Definitely coming back!

Harbour Grand Kowloon

I was completely healed by the view from this hotel! Staying at Harbour Grand Kowloon felt like living in my dream room in Hong Kong. The harbor view is absolutely unbeatable—watching boats glide across Victoria Harbour every day was pure serenity. The location is perfect: just a 5-minute walk from Huangpu MTR station, with the pier and airport bus stop right outside the door—getting around town couldn’t be easier. There’s an amazing selection of food nearby too—Hua Xing Ice Cream Parlor, countless cha chaan tengs, and more than enough options to keep you full for days. And the rooftop infinity pool? A must-visit. Swimming with a panoramic view of the harbour while soaking up the sun was unforgettable. The service was thoughtful and attentive throughout, making the entire stay feel seamless and luxurious. 100/10 experience—see you again soon, Hong Kong! 🇭🇰

InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong

My stay at InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and attentive—always ready to help with any request or concern I had. A special shoutout to Frank Hui for arranging my room in advance before my arrival, and to Wddy Chen for the smooth check-in process upon arrival. Their coordination made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. The room itself was spacious and beautifully designed, with stunning views of the harbor. Location-wise, it’s incredibly convenient—just a short walk from the MTR station, making it easy to explore all the city has to offer. Every detail, from the service to the amenities, reflects a high standard of hospitality. This is more than just a hotel—it’s a memorable experience. I’ll definitely be returning.

Mondrian Hong Kong

I haven’t found a hotel in Hong Kong this good in ages—truly exceptional from start to finish. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful without feeling forced. What stood out most was how spotlessly clean the room was, especially the bathroom: no leaks, no damp spots—something that’s all too common in many local hotels during showers. It’s clear the management pays close attention to detail and invests in staff training. Every team member seemed well-prepared, professional, and naturally courteous. This level of care and consistency is rare, especially in a city like Hong Kong where things can feel rushed or impersonal. I left feeling truly valued as a guest. This isn’t just a stay—it’s an experience worth repeating. I’ll definitely be back and will recommend it to everyone I know.

Holiday Inn Golden Mile

Staying at Holiday Inn Golden Mile in Tsim Sha Tsui was an absolute highlight of my trip to Hong Kong. The location is unbeatable—just a 1-minute walk from Exit N5 of Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station, right on the bustling Nathan Road. In minutes, I was at Star Ferry Pier and Victoria Harbour, with easy access to Harbour City and K11. No need to waste time navigating; everything’s within walking distance. The room itself was spacious at 29 sqm, well-designed with smart layout and super comfortable bedding. The pillow menu was a nice touch—perfect for finding your ideal sleep setup. The marble bathroom had all the essentials, plus daily replenishment of free bottled water—such a thoughtful detail. The rooftop pool on floor 19 was a total surprise—swimming with city views was unforgettable, and the fitness center is fully equipped, making it perfect for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. Breakfast was fantastic—great mix of Western and Chinese options, including authentic dim sum and healthy whole grains that catered to all tastes. And kudos to Jayce at reception—he’s friendly, speaks clear Mandarin, and made check-in and check-out smooth and efficient. Any request was handled promptly. Whether traveling for business or family vacation, this hotel fits like a glove. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Hong Kong. The value and overall experience are simply outstanding.

Apartment Kapok

This was my first stay at Apartment Kapok in Hong Kong, and overall it was a great experience. Getting from the airport to Exhibition Centre MTR station was smooth and straightforward—just hop on the train and you're there. The navigation was a bit tricky at first; I thought I had to find a main entrance, but the actual access is through a small door next to Bank of China in Building A of Wanjing Centre. Just exit at Exit B3 of Exhibition Centre Station, cross two streets, and you’re right there. The location couldn’t be more convenient—especially since I needed to renew my child’s documents, and it’s only a 5-minute walk to the Consulate General building in China Resources Tower. That made everything so stress-free. The room was spacious and well laid out, offering plenty of room for comfort. Staff were friendly and helpful when needed—nothing overly enthusiastic, but definitely responsive and professional. We stayed on the 7th floor, which didn’t have sea views, but the street-level view was perfectly fine. There are plenty of dining options nearby, though if you’re craving authentic local snacks, you’ll need to cross a skybridge and walk a bit further. On the bright side, there’s a supermarket right downstairs—perfect for grabbing fresh fruit, milk, or even quick breakfasts and lunches. The only downside? Poor sound insulation. I could hear every door slam from the neighboring unit—it was loud enough to make me wince. But considering the excellent location, clean rooms, and overall value, I’d definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Hong Kong.

Delta Lounge

Absolutely loved my stay here! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Hong Kong and just a short subway ride away from the airport. The room was spotless, cozy, and well-maintained, making it a perfect home base for exploring the city. I was especially impressed by how great the value was—so much comfort and convenience without the high price tag. The staff were friendly and helpful, and every detail felt thoughtfully done. This place truly delivers on comfort, cleanliness, and convenience. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Hong Kong.

168 Youth Co Living

This was my first time visiting Hong Kong solo as a female traveler, and honestly, I was a little nervous about safety at first. But from the moment I arrived at 168 Youth Co Living, that anxiety melted away. The front desk staff, David, was incredibly welcoming and helpful—always smiling, always ready to assist with anything. The building has two security locks that both require a room key card to pass through, which gave me real peace of mind. My room (1410) was clean, spacious, and had a window overlooking Nathan Road—perfect for people-watching at night. David was truly fantastic; no matter what I needed, he made sure it was taken care of right away. The building itself is part of a historic residential structure in Tsim Sha Tsui, and according to the owner, it’s a favorite spot for celebrity ads—seen stars like Andy Lau and Aaron Kwok filming here before. It’s not just a place to stay—it feels like being part of the city’s vibe. Great location, great value, and an unforgettable experience. Definitely coming back.

Li's Chain Hostel

The owner is very friendly and clearly knows how to run a business. I originally booked online for the 3rd, but due to a change in my schedule, I ended up staying an extra night—charged an additional HK$280, and unfortunately, my original booking couldn’t be refunded. So I had to stay two nights total. Check-in was a bit late, only after 5 PM, and early check-in wasn’t possible. That said, there was one older staff member who seemed quite sensitive—didn’t like being called 'Grandpa' as he felt it made him seem old, and he even got upset when I tried to speak, claiming it might trigger his heart condition. I didn’t mean any harm—I just didn’t know I’d offended him. It was a bit awkward, and I hope the team can work on a warmer, more welcoming approach with guests. Despite that, the place is clean, well-located, and offers great value for money. Overall, a solid choice if you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay with a personal touch.

Majestic 7 Guesthouse

This was my first trip to Hong Kong, and I chose this guesthouse for its proximity to the MTR—definitely a smart decision. The room may be small, but it's perfectly designed with everything you need: clean, soft bedding, ample storage, and a cozy atmosphere. It’s incredibly well-located—just a short walk from the station, making it easy to explore the city. What stood out most was the value for money; the price is super reasonable for what you get, especially considering the cleanliness, comfort, and convenience. If you're visiting Hong Kong for the first time and looking for a quiet, reliable, and affordable stay, this place is an excellent choice. I’d definitely come back.
