The only downside was the first night, when I shared a room with a guest who was constantly moving around on their knees, making loud phone calls until nearly 1 a.m., and repeatedly tapping their phone keys. There were also frequent loud door slams, which made it really hard to sleep. I had to rely on earplugs just to get some rest—otherwise, I would’ve definitely requested a room change mid-stay. Thankfully, I managed to switch rooms the next day, and the second night was peaceful and quiet—perfect for a good night’s sleep. The staff were very responsive and helpful throughout. The location is great, right in the heart of Geneva, and the hostel offers fantastic value for money. If they could improve room soundproofing a bit more, this place would be absolutely perfect.
