The Mount City Near US Consulate
I stayed at The Mount City Near US Consulate in Chennai and unfortunately, I can't recommend this hotel. The amenities were subpar—some rooms had visible wall damage, and the furnishings looked worn out. I also noticed that personal belongings weren’t properly cleaned or maintained, which was quite off-putting. What made the experience worse was the lack of responsiveness from staff when I raised concerns. The customer service felt indifferent and slow to address issues. While the location is convenient—close to the US Consulate and accessible by public transit—the overall quality doesn’t match the price point. I wouldn’t stay here again unless there’s no other option.
